maaaaan *jealous* you get ur 1st fill at 4 weeks?!!!! lol that's cool. You will have to tell me how it goes. Which band did you get anyway? I have the new realize band. I did schedule my 1st full appt. but it's not till April 1st. Yea my Dr. said just walk too but didn't specify if it could be on a treadmill or not. Oh well, I seem to handle it ok. Ellipticals are great. They are actually my favorite machine but I am hesitant to get on one till after 6 weeks. I think investing in one is great especially if you don't have a fitness center near by or its raining or can't get to the gym or whatever. I have a fitness center in my apartments which is small but no one is ever in there and its all brand new equipment so it's nice I can just go in whenever I feel like it and turn on the tv or take my ipod and just rock out for 30 min

hey twin i am doing alright. my scars are healing well and I don't think will really be that noticeable. i am finally able to sleep on my side and a lil on my tummy *claps* i have not lost any more weight i don't think. i keep going back and forth between 17-19lbs lost. luckily i have not gained back any weight yet. are u working out at all? when i was bummed i hadn't lost any weight on monday i started on the treadmill THAT DAY!!! lol. i can only do 30 min. for now but i was prety good at a 3 speed and 2 incline. i also switched it up to different fat burning programs. but we were prepared for this right? it will be better once we get our fills! don't be discouraged, we are just beginning *hugs*

lol no I'm not sorry I asked. I am actually happy that someone is being truthfull and isn't all gym gung-ho ALL THE TIME. I know its possible to just be regular like ourselves and still be able to lose weight I am only on my 3rd week post op but have started just walking 30 min. on the treadmill and once I hit 6 weeks I hope to get into other things like strength training/toning.

the thing that sucks about going to mexico is that there really is no post-op appointment. I correspond w/ my dr. via email and I think the next time I will see a dr. is when I go to the fill center in Austin.

Well I wasn't going to go initially on Saturday. But my job really sucks when your short staffed and I have this tremendous feeling of responsibility when it comes to my job and my co-workers. I need to learn to get over it. The world won't end if I don't go in but I still feel guilty. I told my nurse manager to put me on light duty so basically all I have to do is pass out my meds and chart. I'll see how it goes tomorrow night. Where is your port? I've strained the area right above my belly button and the incision all the way to the right. I hope everything heals quickly and soon. Are you getting in all your protein? I know I'm not and its aggravating. I know thats slowing down my healing.
