Hugs TCB! Sorry that it was post poned.

ha ha ha I was suppose to have surgery at 7:30, so I'm glad that it's a little later! My hubby was super happy to not have to wake up so early.
-
Glad to hear it's going well Momma D!
I called this afternoon and I have to be at the hospital at 7am tomorrow! Please say a prayer or two for me.
-
Hannah, how'd it go?
I am enjoying hearing how everyone is doing post surgery. Tomorrow I have a wildberry drink that I have to have 7 glasses of. Then Tuesday is the big day!

Have any of you experienced nausea on your pre-op liquid diet? Or vomiting? I have had it three times and this morning I actually got sick. Definitely going to take a pg test in the morning just to make sure! ha ha ha There is NO way that should be the case... and with 20 month and almost three month old babies. YIKES!

I like all of these positive vibes tonight!
Yeah Band Groupie!
Kaner, so glad you're feeling well!:scared2:

Hannah, what day are you on? It does seem to get a little better. Try to drink tons of Water and chewing gum seemed to help me. You can do it girl! Remember when I said I cheated... don't do it! My stomach hurt so bad from eating that cake. It was SO NOT worth it.

Swiss, I'm so glad that everything went well! Thanks for the great tip about sitting up.
-
Sissy, so glad to hear you are doing well! It's also very encouraging. Good for you for getting up and moving! I'm also excited to hear you're not hungry. That is one of the hardest parts of the this liquid diet. Hope things continue to go smoothly!
-
Good morning! How are all of our bandsters feeling from yesterday? GL to those who are going in today!
-
Glad you're feeling well and home safe and sound!
Hannah, I cheated too. I said I wouldn't and totally had a small piece of cake at our baby shower last night. Just get back on the band wagon girl! You can do it!
-
You can do it Hannah! Just be confident in yourself. Screw them! Keep thinking about how much MORE beautiful you will be when you succeed at this journey!

Good Morning Bunnies! Good luck to all of our gals and guys starting us off tomorrow with surgeries. I can't wait to hear about how it goes. Please keep us posted!
The liquid diet is going really well for me. I'm so excited to be down 11 pounds! See you later 11! How is everyone else doing on the liquid diet? It really did get easier. Thanks Lingling for the encouragement! One week to go!

Well I told my dad today. He is worried for me, but overall handled it well. Thank you all for your thoughts and concerns! At dinner I just held my little one and fed him his bottle. Everyone kept mentioning I should eat. I just brushed it off and said I would. They all went down to watch basketball and I ate my soup! My mom knew about it so she helped me be sly.
-
I talked to my mom today and told her about the surgery. She was pretty good about it. She even said to bring my Soup tomorrow and just tell my grandparents I'm on a liquid diet. My grandma still won't like that, but oh well. So I am very happy that I don't have to be manipulative. Tomorrow I will tell my dad. I'm down another pound today, so this liquid diet is doing it's thing!

Murph-poem is too cute!
Smile-
WELCOME!!! It does seem to take FOREVER (still waiting here).
Hey April 27??!!! I don't know...that's a pretty gloomy day...are you sure...we may have an eclipse or something equally as scary that day....well, I guess after all that waiting...if you must...
...that's my *gulp* 50th birthday:lol: (I'm still getting used to the idea).
Hey girl! I'm so ready for my 30th this year! It's going to be totally different and I'm sooooo excited because I'm going to be one hot mama!
Murphy I like the poem!
So I think I'm going to tell my parents. Screw what they say... I'm a grown woman.

I think it'd be really hard to have/host/attend a family dinner near surgery. Heck I typically host thanksgiving and I am taking this year off and that is about 7 months out from surgery.I wonder if I will ever be strong enough to not weigh every day. I only record it on fridays but every morning after I pee there I stand in all my nekkid glory on the scale hoping it's lower than the day before lol!!
ha ha ha Me too! In my birthday suit... don't want an extra ounce from any clothes. ha ha ha
I noticed after my shower that my hair is already starting to fall out. Oy! This happened when I (extreme) dieted before my wedding and lost a lot of weight. I know there's something in my book about it.

I love how our group is growing!
Thank you for all of the advice. I think I might just say I'm not feeling well. I certainly don't want to cheat.
I weighed today and hadn't lost anything. That is so frustrating! Note to self: don't weigh yourself every day when you already feel like you're starving!!! Ha ha ha

I really don't want to lie. That's totally not my nature. I am going to tell them about it, but after they get back. I don't want them to feel like they have to miss their vacation because I'm having surgery.
Peggy, I hear ya! I don't want people to wonder how I'm doing either. It will be more fun to be a surprise then have them monitor everything I eat, wear, or do.

Welcome to all of new weightloss bunnies!
I have a MAJOR problem! Can anyone help? My parents are going away for spring break and will be gone for Easter. They want to have us over for dinner on Sunday What in the world am I going to do?! No one knows about my surgery. I know I could just tell the truth, but my grandparents are going to be there. I am NOT telling them. My grandmother is a former nurse and VERY opinionated about things. All of these people have said something about my weight, but none of them will be for me doing the surgery.
Any ideas on what to do?!

Our list is growing! YEAH!

Welcome new bunnies!
I haven't told anyone, but my best friend and hubby that I'm getting banded. Not even my parents. My bf has had gastric bypass and of course hubby because I need his help. I don't know how to tell my parents. They just won't want me to do it and they are going on vacation the week of my surgery. I don't want them to feel like they have to stay home. So I am just going to tell them afterwards.
Lou and Jessica I know you'll both do great! Jessica, I'm still totally impressed that you're dieting and working out before even being on the liquid diet!!!!
Day 4 of the liquid. Am I numb yet? ha ha ha Waiting for that supposed magical day- Day 5. But I'm down, so bye-bye BMI of 44!
-
Dang girl! Congrats on losing that much in that many days! I've only lost the 5.

Well I came home today. The drugs have basically kicked my butt and the thought of food repluses me. I'm sore, but not too much gas pain. I have tried to get up and get walking. I hope this nausea feeling goes away soon. It's pretty nasty!
