So there's really nothing serious just some discomfort and maybe some complications after surgery. I can handle that. Thanks, y'all been very helpful..

yes, what do you feel? Can you keep food down? What are the changes your body go through after the operation? What should I be aware of?

Hi, Been thinking about the lapband for awhile now and I'm finally doing it.. Right now I'm at the beginning stages. My first appt. happened yesterday. I'm at least 200 pounds overweight and tried every diet you can imagine. I'm pretty sure I'm going through with it...however maybe some of you can give me heads up on what to expect. I'm not scared just a little nervous to the unknown. I do have questions and I really hope i can get the answers here in additional to the outside support. :w00t:

Thank you all for responding to my post. My doctor did told me if I follow his plan everything should work out.. He don't have to tell me twice...once I go under (I told him)think of the wonder pets.... DIS IS SERIOUS! :confused: See you guys around the board and good luck to all of you..
