It is a waiting game. Never sure if it will really happen. Will you ever be normal? Not hungry. Be able to walk and have fun. Not have people star at you or your childrens friends make comments about you. So I went to a seminar. Decided to call the ins co. they said they do cover it. Went to my Dr. to start a 6 mo. diet plan. My Dr. had left and gone to another city. Started w/new Dr. She left and went back to her old city to get married. gave up for a while. Collected all of my past med history for the last 5 yrs. Finally got an appointment with the surgeon. They will do the 6 month diet ! Hurray. Went to the psch. eval. Am now past the 6months and now the paper work has been submitted to the Insurance company. Now the waiting begins. On the bright side I have lost 30+ pounds. classes are scheduled for June. Hope to soon be able to be on pre-op diet with a surgery date.
