April 13th 2009 I went to surgery in a size 22 jeans...Now it is Aug.30,2011 and I am in a size 10-12. I think I am where I suppose to be because I can't lose any more weight

Hiya Tawanda....getting ready to have my surgery on the 11th and went and met with my surgery team today....freaking out about it all...lol Any tips for me?

Gurl,thanks...because this band can be confusing!!! I'm soo worried about the diet stages...i dn't want to drink alot,but i know protein is a must!!! I'm glad to hear n time it will change..thanks so much for ur advice..u have a blessed week...gwen

Hi crensg congrats on the surgery..Yes I did have a problem getting in water and protein but it got better after a few weeks!!!Just sit back and enjoy the lapband ride

Keep up the awesome work!! I just got banded on the 9th...man,i'm having trouble tryin to drink my water and get my protein...did u have the same problem after ur surgery...

This is such an inspiration for me, I have a long way to go but I have had a very slow process with the band. I have restriction now so hopefully things will start to change.

thanks ,but i went to the doctor yesterday and they said that their scale said 205 so SAD about that but HAPPY that i lose 9 pounds .

Same here! I've lost about 70+ lbs and counting...and I am extremely proud of myself and this decision! Congratulations on your progress!!!
