my parents are 100% on board, it was actually thier idea..exspeacially with it being thier insurance, my mom brought up that me my mom and my dad watch the online seminar so we can all know about it working on researching the surgeouns around here, i found one i like but you never know? if one surgeon denies me can i go to another one?

thanks jack ive been researching like crazy and thats how i actually stumbled across this site im going to watch the seminar online and ask questions on this board to help me out, when i talked to them they asked if i was 18 and i said no and they said ok, so i think thats fine, my insurance covers it, so i think im headed in the right direction, what should i expect when meeting with a surgeon?

I have recently decided to get the lap band surgery and have my heart, mind, and soul, set on getting it, i will do whatever it takes no matter what to start my new life, i know im young (17) but i am REALLY overweight, im about 6'6 and 390 pounds, im scared that i will be turned down for surgery, ive been overweight my whole life, and would like to get it, so i can enjoy the life i have, what do you guys think?? would they turn me down???
