Hi Topping, i had 0.5 put in my band back in March which brought me up to 6mils OMG it was so tight i eat a small bit of a spring roll got stuck and came back up getting sick made the band even tighter couldn't even keep water down and the pain in my chest was unbearable i had to get a de fill of 1 mil it was so scary the nurse told me she usually tells people when they feel tight to wait a little while to see if it eases off, but with me she knew i was in trouble after getting sick everthing swelled up so she had no choice, the reason i am telling you this is just be very careful not to eat anything you think might get stuck and chew well, i was so annoyed with myself eating that dame spring roll i think if i had took it easy at the 6mils it would have leveled of by itself make ,sure you drink lots of water,if drinking becomes a problem you will have to get it checked out Hi EnglishRose ,so glad things are starting to work out for you and band is finally starting to work good luck:smile2: -

Hi lindsaymel, you should stay on liquids for 10 days, then slowly move on to mushes like mash potatoes with a little soft veg & gravy bit like baby food weetibix with warm milk smoothies with low fat yogurts, sorry not very exciting but when you have been on liquids for 10 days potatoes never tasted so good, just take it slowly you be grand, i know its frustrating when your starting to get your appetite back and feel really hungry and just want to eat everthing its hard but it will be worth it in the long run when you start to see results, you will get help when you start to get your fills hang in there its so worth it happy days x:thumbup: -
