Hi MMM, i cant see anything where the drain was, i dont think there is even a stitches there because i was bleeding a bit has started to heal now maybe it did come out when she took the drain out, so is the fishing line dissolvable, im 9 days post op still just having soup and yogurts was going to have a bit of mast potato and cauliflower today but was afraid starting to get really hungry have dry sensation in my throat is this normal, many thanks MMM lolx:smile:

Hi Guy's & Dolls, can any one tell me about the stitches, i trim-ed off the fishing line and i dont seem to have the blue stitches Frederick said only the blue one has to be removed but i only have the clear like fishing line so does that mean i just leave well enough a lone:confused: at what stage can you start having mushes sorry for all the ? Hi Guy's & Dolls, got back in one piece doing ok still very sore around the port area chest feels a bit tight cant drink quickly have to sip each day feeling better, you where all so right about Dr Chris Frederick and hes team you could not fault them very professional and explain everything to you i would highly recommend them, i arrived late on Thurday evening about 9pm Frederick Knocked on the door about ten mins later he said he had to speck to three more ladies would i mind if he spoke to us all together i said that would be fine so we all meet up,i was so relived that i wasn't on my own i met Kaka and her daughter and two sisters lovely people,it was great we where all getting done the same day it was a god send we all got chatting it was great we where all on the same journey,the taxi picked us all up at 7am we then had to check in to hosp i was brought to a ward went down about 2pm i have say when i woke up i felt terrible had a lot of pain but it settle after pain relief just slept most of the day ,i could not belief how well i felt the next morning sorry hope i haven't put anyone off but i feel its important to tell the truth, i didn't see any body till the next day when i was brought down for xray it was such a relief to see everyone had got over surgery so well meet another lady who had surgery too i hope you are all ok sorry didn't get to say goodbye my flight was very early Sunday morning Hope Kaka daughter got on ok at work, by the way i have lost over a stone that includes pre op diet happy days,starting to feel hungry on liquid diet, sorry Freckles to hear about your mum hope your feeling ok,the best of look to Sammy,wellcome to newbies to this site its fantastic, thanks again for all your good wishes.anybody have any ? i be happy to help if i can lolx:wink:

Hi Gillian, sorry i made a mistake i will be there on Thursday 5th have surgery on Friday 6th, im doing ok with the low fat diet cant stop thinking about choc and chips tho nothing new there:rolleyes: did doc not say anything to you about your pre op diet i be afraid he wouldn't do it for me :party: how are you and big sis getting on lol x:smile:

Hi Kaka, I'm finding the low fat diet hard to im get a little stressed about op ,i usual eat more when im stressed, i Know i have to be good because of your liver so i would be afraid to eat something fatty just shows home much we use food as a crouch, im traveling Friday to so hopefully we can meet up, wont be arriving till about 9pm Frederick said he would call to hotel between 9-10 did he tell you he would call,please god this time next week will both be fine and wondering what we where worrying lol x :party:

Hi Miss Cheryl, just read your post, i am feeling exactly the same i am getting band fitted 6/3 starting to feel really sorry for myself i miss having goodies so much i think i am addicted to choc, like you feel even embarrassed about having surgery, keep thinking something going to go wrong for me,deep down i know it is the right decision for me its an emotional roll a coaster at the mo i suppose its only natural, but this time next week it will be all over for both of us we be wondering why we got so worried and have a new life to look forward to god bless for your op, look forward to hearing how you got on lol x:smile:

Ailbhe,hi aim new on this site i am getting band on 6Th March by Dr Chris de Bryne in Belgium, i so nervous about the op have myself convinced something is going to go wrong for me all tho i know Dr Chris has a very good rep,can i ask you Ailbhe how much weight have you lost and how many fills have you had , did you get your fills done in Dublin by Dr Chris, and sorry one more thing did you have to pay for surgery the night before in your hotel, sorry for all the ?:thumbup:

Hi FlirtyLass you poor love is so unfair after all your hard work the weight it has a lot to answer for its like a double edge sword never mind it be all worth it in the end so what if you have a bit of saggy skin in good time you be able to sort it out have you looked into more surgery x lol

Hi Bigsister, thats very good weight loss in five weeks if i loss that much i be very happy plus you lost weight before surgery well done,im doing ok but about ten last night had a craving for chocolate whats new but i settled for low low cheese and cracker bread and some grapes,don't give up posting Bigsister and Gillian please!!! its a god send to us pre bansters,can i just ask what time does the hotel serve food till as we wont get there tell about 9pm, typical still thinking about my belly lol x:smile: Hi Fatpants,sounds like you have your hands full glad hubby going with you your going to need him for support lol x:smile:
