  1. I was banded Feb 25th and did really well the first 3 months, losing about 10lbs per month. Now I seem to be at a stand still for the past 6 weeks, only losing about 3.5lbs. I know it is probably because I need a fill. I had to miss my appointment at the beginning of June, because I didn't have the money to pay for it, since my husband and I neither one are working right now. So even though I can't get a fill right now, I need some suggestions on how I can get my self back on track. I have been kind of depressed about not losing any weight and then I eat, which I know is the stupidest thing that I could do, but I guess old habits die hard. I hope to be able to get a fill some time this month, but I would really like to try and straighten up and get things moving again before then. I really appreciate and welcome any comment. Thanks for listening

  2. I finally lost another 2.5 lbs. this week. This is the first time if lost anything in about a month. I still need to lose 10lbs to make my birthday goal, so I guess it's not going to happen. I know that the weightloss is going slow because I've had a few set backs. My husband and I neither one are working right now so I haven't had the money to get a fill in about 2 months. Maybe I'll get some birthday money, because not losing with the band is really depressing. Thanks for listening, and congrats to those who are doing well.

  3. Hey Everyone, How are things going? I don't think I am going to make my birthday goal. I need to loose 13.7lbs in 3 weeks and I just don't think I can:sad:. I do go for a fill on Thursday and hopefully that will get things going again. I missed an appointment for a fill at the beginning of the month and that was a big mistake for me. I can't eat a lot at once, but I am hungry about every 2.5-3 hour:thumbdown:.

Keep up the good work everyone!!!

  4. Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share some exciting news. Yesterday, I was getting ready for my daughters 4k graduation and I put some pants on that were really tight on me before. Now they are Huge. I guess that's the last time I'll be able to wear those. That was really the first time that I have really noticed the weight loss. It is so exciting, just wanted to share with others how knows how it feels. So, how are all of you doing?

  5. When I started having pain from gallstones, it was horrible. It hurt right under my breast bone and all the way through to my back. If I ate anything greasy, it would usually come back up. One night I ate fried Bologna and I hurt so bad that I went to the emergency room and they said it was probably gallstones but to go to my regular Dr. It took a few weeks to get everything figured out and to have surgery, but they gave me pain medicine to take while I waited. Hope this help.

  6. Congrats on the weight loss. I am almost 2 weeks post op and have lost 10lbs. The first week, I would feel like I was starving and drank about 1/2 to 1 cup of liquids every 2 hours or so. I was waking up in the middle of the night hungry and I would have to get up and drink something. So one night I ate 1/2 cup of cream of potato Soup and then I drank 4 oz of a Protein Shake. I was so full I thought I was going to be sick and I still woke up that night hungry. Now I have started eating 5 club crackers with a tiny bit of Peanut Butter and jelly on them at night. Since I started doing that I don't ever really feel hungry anymore. Do you know how many caleries we are supposed to be getting? I haven't had over 800. Anyways, I'll stop rambling now. Good Luck.
