[size=3]I studied and collected info lots of internet info and still it took a 2 yrs before I finally gave in and decided that lap band surgwas the right thing to do for me. I had surgery 12-013 and to date I have lost 24 lbs and had my fill 2-11-14. I tried as sooo many people all the diet pills drinks and diets over many years went through the total yoyo losing thing. I ve had total knee replacements times 3 and put more weight each time during recovery. I had a long career registered nurse and my weight was up and down but not severe enough to make me even think about weight loss surgery. Now in my early 60's and retired I had to reconcile myself to living unhealthy with > b/p, > cholesterol and diabetes or wake up slap myself decide not to live like that. I am new at this and I know it will be a journey I will be on the rest of my life but it will be a healthy life. I am pleased with my decision and my husband is totally supportive.[/size]
