Candice, I'm here. Ladies get this...joined the gym last night and went today and did the elliptical machine with arms. Shall we say noodely driving home. I guess walking and elliptically is 2 different things. Got my Bcomplex and amino acid injections today, so tonight is the big night. shoot myself all alone. I've given ton's of shots before, but only the one on Friday to myself. I sure hope it helps. The doc has me replacing one to 2 meals with a super protein drink. I was worried, because the protein drinks that I used after surgery really didn't keep me full. He assured me that because is was one of the highest quality protein available that it would keep me full. dang if he wasn't right. It is also gluten free which is suppose to help with my intestinal bloat. Of course right now I have a grape lodges in my stomach that is about to make an appearance. Probably have a bit of an over fill. I'm going to give it a week or so and then see where I'm at. Did anyone hear how Steph's tests went? I got some good news today...I think. I was accepted into the Master's program that I told you all about, where everything is paid for AND they pay me $200 a day for sitting in class. That's the good news, the bad...it starts THIS Friday! Oh hell, what was I thinking. I don't have time for this. I'll have to write papers, and be observed, write lessons, yeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuugg. DD#4 finally went to the doctor and she has walking pneumonia again. DD#5's wisdom teeth are acting up. Does it ever end? -

Candice, excellent comments to Jackie! Life is way too short. Black marshmallows, you guys are as bad as my girls. No the only way to eat them is slow toasted deep brown. NOT BLACK, you guys ruin them. Naturally they need to be nestled between 2 grahm crackers and chocolate, 168 calories. -

Jackie, we always have benedryl in the house for the puppies. Simon, our wired-haired doxi always puts his nose where it doesn't belong and gets stung. Then he swells up like a balloon. Jordan, our black & tan, has some skin issues, so the benedryl help him stop chewing. Phyl, great job. I can't stand greenie beanies, ohhh, they have little cardigans on them. It just grosses me out. With all your walking and good food choices, I'm sure you will have a loss. Jackie, you are a brave woman, but you are still so young. There is so much more out there. I'm not saying you should leave, just make sure you aren't staying because it is easy. You are beautiful. Where you married before you got your band? Of course, I'm not the one to offer advise. I'm a loser when it comes to men. -

Kari, I have you all beat on IT. It's been years. I've been divorced now for 15 1/2 years, so it have been about 14 years. I don't even know it I could do IT if I tried. I figure by now, I've grown my virginity back. Plus I've been reconstructed, so everything is newish. Heck, I even have cadavar tissue...ummm, I don't think I'll share that with the gentleman, should I ever have an opportunity. Okay, with that, I'm going to bed. ate about an ounce of food for dinner. Needless to say was hungry 2 hours later, so had some yogurt, blueberries, & Kashi. Calories today were about 900. good night -

I have determined that a man designed a washing machine. Who else would put all those hiddent ledges where dirt and fabric softener can collect. Add in that I work at a nursery during the summer and come home with dirt and grime ground into my skin and clothes. I actually have to have a separate set of clothes for nursery work because they get to dirty to get totally clean. I want to know how my mother use to get my dad's coal mine clothes clean. He would come home every night and all you could see where the whites of his eyes and teeth. Mom and dad are none too pleased with the kitty I found for dad. I guess she is hiding in the closet. For crying out loud, we just picked her up yesterday. So naturally it is my fault. I finally got ticked off enough to say that I would come and get her. Yeah mom, I went out of my way to find a cat you wouldn't like. I love driving 8+ hours to connect dad up with a cat that hides all the time. Like I really could afford 2 tanks of gas and replenishing dads fruit & veggies stash, AND finding him a dozen eggs straight from the farm. I didn't even get a friggin thank you. -

Thanks Jackie Oh by the way, I'm heading to go clean out the washing machine. So I haven't totally lost my OCD with cleaning. I use to clean the kitchen floor with a toothbrush. Now I'm lucky if it gets swabbed out when it reaches out and grabs you. -

Jackie, any time you run out of things to clean, you can come to my house. I use to be that way. Sometimes, I wish I still was, now I just don't give a hoot. Yeah right, I give a hoot, but don't have what it takes to get it done. -

Jackie, I guess I'm still looking for that type of love. I talk big about 'I'm good just by myself', but the reality is that I'm still looking for someone who loves me for myself. I almost had it twice, 1st time I couldn't compete with his family, 2nd time couldn't compete with the drugs. Silly I know to still want that. -

Jackie, I'm so sorry. There is nothing I could say to make it hurt less, but here is my shoulder, cry at will. I'm postive that he is proud of you and the kids. You've carried on and loved your kids for both of you. He has not truely missed your lives, just watching from a different place. And he is still actively involved with their lives. You may not see him, but you feel him. I'm in awe of people who have a love like that. Many of us have never had that opportunity. So try to take joy from the time you had. -

All right ladies, I drive half way across the state and back and all you do is ONE post. Janet is forgiven because she is dealing with trying to arrange flights, but what is the rest of your's excuses? Went and connected dad up with his new kitty, it looks like it is going to be a perfect match. The owners, actually breeders had her locked up in a cat kennel. Granted it was about 3 ft x 2ft & about 4 ft tall, but in my opinion that is not where a kitty should live. I guess she has been in there at least 2 weeks, 'recovering' from her spaying. I'm glad we were able to 'rescue' her. I know in the owner's opinion they were doing US a favor. But I see it differently. The kitty curled up in dad's lap and started 'kneeding' his leg, so I know it will work. The kitty wouldn't come out of the kennel for the owner, but did for me. SO TAKE THAT! I finally have some good restriction, not too much, just right. I didn't eat much because I figured I needed to give the adjustment a rest. But I will confess to stopping at Sonic and having a 'real fruit' slushie. Okay, not much fruit, a lot of sugar, so yell at me. I have a headache, so I'm going to sit here and veg. Mother drove me nuts, but that's normal. check in later -

Morning ladies!! Have to head to Great Falls to pick up my dad's new kitty. Mom & dad are driving from Roundup to meet me in Great Falls. Now the kitty lives in Great Falls so...Why am I needed? Mainly because dad wants to see me. It is a 4 hour drive, one way for both of us. I was really hoping dad would not insist upon coming. This is going to exhaust him and then he won't be able to snuggle the new baby. But he is determined to "do something' normal. I guess it is his choice, but I know it will put him down for several days. The new kitty is a purebred, 5 yr old manx, dad's favorite type of kitty. He had to put is previous baby down last year. Oh I forgot to mention when we got home from kalispell yesterday...you won't guess what was sitting on my front step. Actually, I should say WHO. A handsome black and tan doxi, who answers to the name of Jordan. Yep it appears that OUR doxi jumped on the table in the back patio, jumped to the patio wall, jumped free and was wondering the neighborhood all day. We live next to a busy highway and doxi's will follow their nose like hounds, it is a miracle he is still alive. We NEVER let them loose without a leash because doxi's are netorious for 'following their nose. Today we have 'fire storm warnings' which means that we have existing fires and am expecting extreme high winds. Hopefully the fires won't spread and the firefighters will be safe. Naturally, that mean Sushi boy is still gone. Well best get moving, check in later. TTFN -

Jackie, my doc and stuff I've read says that B helps with energy and dealing with stress. The shots i'm taking is a B complex with amino acid which is also suppose to help with weight loss. He also has me on Vitamin D to improve immunity and depression. Karri is taking B shots and says it really helps. -

Sounds like everyone had a good productive day! Just got back from the fill doc. Everytime I go, I just love him a little more. He actually is pretty funny and REAL. He and his wife recently got married and between them they have 11 kids, so he is still hungry for money. He did have a hard time angling the port. He pulled out what was in there. Rohre SAID he put in 2.3 cc's, there was only about 1.5 cc's. Hummm...do I feel a 'setup'. Anyway he added 0.5 cc. Then we talked about my intestinal issues. He feels pretty sure it is celiacs. DD#1 has horrid celiacs, she was so bad that her body started breaking down, teeth, etc. So I was tested about 5 years ago because it is inherited, and I test positive, but I never really thought I had it because I was fat. Well come to find out you can have celiacs and be fat. Doc says that less sever celiac can actually increase weight gain, because your intestines can't absorb complex nutrients, but it will grab onto the simple sugars. So i need to start thinking about avoiding gluten. Anyway, gave myself a B shot. I had to tell Chris, the doc, to turn around cause I couldn't do it with him watching. It was easier that I thought. I use to give my neighbor shots every week, so I have given them before, but not to myself. He also wants me to replace one meal with a super protein drink. He says the B complex with help with my focusing issues and I should think about antioxidents. So I have a lot to think about. -

Phyl, I so glad someone else is a 'closet' survivor watcher. I can't admit it in public. I agree about Russel. He is such a sleeze, which is why they have him. However, the program is so into watching him, that you never get to see anything else. I am sure that he will win, and then he will stand up and say...'oh by the way, I'm a millionaire, I don't need the money. I taped Bones, so I can watch it this weekend. Janet, hope you are taking some 'down' time after your rough day. I need to do some serious head talk to myself. I can't let myself get worked up like yesterday. Life is too short and I turn into a -itch which makes for a lousy day for the students. So I'll get my head back on straight and get the right attitude back before Monday. Head to Kalispell this morning, I'll let you all know how it goes when I get home. TTFN -

hello ladies, Janet, I'm as irritated as you are, it must be in the air! My students did NOT come with their brains today. They wanted me to do everything for them. all they had to do was read a paragraph and answer a couple of questions. Because I didn't write the questions word for word from the text, so they couldn't 'find' the answer. Oh my, I expected them to 'understand' the paragraph and then 'explain' what they learned. I got so incredibly frustrated I had to walk out into the hall before I hurt someone. Then, we have a 'no bag' policy in the classroom, so I enforce it (mainly because I have a room that fits 18, and I have 27 students). So I get grief from the students because teacher A, B, & C let them have the bags. I call the teachers and yep A, B, & C do let them have their bags. Then the teachers get ticked at the students...why....because the 'students ratted' them out. How about either enforce the rule or lets get rid of the rule. Wrapped up the day with one of my diabetic students crashes his blood sugar and I can't find the nurse, secretary, and I have a class of students. I finally get him out to the hall and get him cognizant enough to tell me he has juice in his locker. Fortunately his locker is by my room. Get juice in him and I have to run & hollar for help. When ir was all said and done, his blood sugar was 26. Ummm, not that far from a coma! It took 4 hours to get his blood sugar up, then it skyrocketed. I'm too dang old for this stress. Then I get a call from DD#5 who is at the university, she has been quarantened to her room and says she is not allowed to leave because she has a high fever and sore throat. I call the health center and rant for awhile, they agree to let her come in to be seen IF and WHEN they have a 'room'. I'm ready to leave school and go get her, when she calls back and tells me that she is in the clinic and MAY have swine flu but that she is NOT coming home because her 'friends' will take care of her. FINE!!! stay there by yourself and be sick. I didn't walk tonight, i have to grade a bunch of papers to get them ready for eligibilities before I leave in the morning to go to kalispell. So now it is my turn to appologize for ranting. See I told all of you that Janet and I need to live together in the Traveling Vampmobile. Phyl, I'm glad your knee is feeling better. Hey if DD doesn't pack clothes this is not your problem. When he wears the same clothes over and over, he may admit he made a mistake or live with it. Janet, I'm so sorry about Andrew's car. It is hard when we see them doing 'stupid' stuff. My DD#4 doesn't drink because 2 years ago she was out 'drinking' with friends and remembers consuming a drink at 11:30 pm and waking up 8 hours later in a place she didn't know. Yes she was drugged and raped. Now I wish she would have some social life, but she is fearful. She did have counceling, and fo the most part is doing well. But I guess that is one reason that at 23 she still lives at home. She had social anxiety issues before, and was working with a psycologiest to over-come the anxiety WHEN this happened. So much for friends. Oh hell, I don't know where that came from. I guess that I wish she could have a 'normal' life. -

Ladies, have a good day. Think positive thoughts! I made it through the evening without eating anything other than my FF Fudge bar!! Huge! I wanted sweets so bad. More than a fudge bar, but I resisted. Jackie, you are a better soul than I. Since you got your band after you were married, AND you look fabulous!!!! Your DH should be groveling at your feet. But then again, I have an EXTREMELY poor track record with men. You are beautiful and shouldn't let him stress you out. Today as a new and HOT DAY, end of September and we are going to be in the high 80's. I wish middle schoolers knew how to use deodorant. TTFN, check in tonight! -

Kari, I'm with you, I want sweets!! Dinner was good, but I'm head hungry. calories so far are good. I want something more!!!! I've been hungry most of the time any more. But I did manage to wear a t-shirt today that was a 'real' size instead of an plus size. It was an extra large, but it came from a 'real' store and not Lane Bryants or CJ Banks. Even my new size 16's were a little baggy after half the day. AND who knew your feet would shrink. All my dressier shoes are too big, they flop up and down. AND I wore an emerald ring that I haven't been able to wear in several years. focus on the positive!!!!!!! If I eat, I won't have floppy shoes any more!!! -

I got an email from the guy who was too forward on the phone. I deleted his email and didn't answer. He was rude when I informed him that we weren't interested in what he was wanting. Is he stupid or something? Oh well, that's life. Sushi boy must still be out on a fire, or so I hope, I don't want to think about the other options. Now I'm being negative. Think positive!!! -

Jackie, oh hell no, I'd be packing his sweet ass up and move him to his mothers. There better be some compensation...good in bed? good salary? No way am I going to put up with having to mother another 'child'. Uhhh, I guess that is why I'm single. Oh well. Janet, I don't know how I'm going to do the master's program either. I actually put in over to God and said, "If you think I can do this, give it to me, If you think I can't handle it, I can totally live with in. Right now I swear that I have 'caught' ADD from my students. I stare at the computer and don't get anything done. It took me almost a week to order the kid's 'Book Order's", the kids think I ordered it last Thursday. I'm going to blame it one the mail. It took me 3 hours to get done, usually I am done in 1/2 hour. Did get my walk in today, I'm waiting for the endorphins to kick in. I need them!!!!! Need to write a quiz tonight, actually 2 quizes. Need to write lesson plans for Friday since I'm going to the fill doc. Saturday need to drive to Great Falls, 4 hours 1 way. Sunday... need to find my house, classroom!!!
