So we will give it another try... Seem to be getting an extremely small handle on my house, I can even see the counter. Still not close to being done, but trying to work for an hour each day after work. My vacuum seems to be giving up the ghost, so what brand do you guys like. I need a canister type that I can use on stairs. I've never had carpeted stairs before. When I'm rich and famous I am going to tear all the carpet out and put in laminet, but I have to get $$$ first. The hoover windtunnel canister seems to have good reviews.

Hum, Phyl, ulcer? are you taking a new med? food allergy? I deserve the ass-kicking. I'm tired and when I'm tired I eat. I did check out my CPAP and my apnea is down to 2, huge decrease. When I did the sleep study, it was 56 to 100 per hour. Got it down to about 5 with the CPAP, now down to 2 with the weight loss. The resperatory theropist says that I can try to wean myself off. But I'm affraid to. Plus let's get real, I love the white noise and the moist air. Power was off most of the afternoon so got a few boxes unpacked. Wind blew over 4 powerlines and flipped a semi. I figured I'd be out of power for days but they must have gotten a temporary line up. I sure hope the semi driver is okay. Had a knockdown drag out with DD#4. So tomorrow we are sitting down and writing house rules. If she doesn't follow she either pays rent or leaves along with her dog. DD#5's dormroom mate got caught with alcohol so DD also got a disciplinary notice and has to go before the dorm board. She has moved out of the room and is staying at the 'innervarsity' house, the campus church group that she belongs to. Don't know if DD was aware of the alcohol or involved, but hopefully she learned something from it. Need to find some dinner of sorts. Had a piece of cheese and 3 crackers when I thought the power was going to be out. So I don't really need anything. I think I will go for another latte instead. Well best get busy...on something. Linda, hugs, to have your baby move. I know they all have to grow up, I'm just not ready for it. Although, I'd gladly give you DD#4 right now. She is like a toothache. Denise, was your friend a single parent? Does her daughter still have family? It has been a strange year. I've had 2 parents of students die, one was a suicide, the other a car accident. The kids seem to be holding okay, but I don't know how they do it. Heck, I'm old and still not dealing well with my dad's death. Everynight I find that I still include him in my prayers. Then the little things...dad's favorite candy was black licorice, it seems to be everywhere right now. Silly I know. Tried scrambled eggs and 99% FF ham with some cheese. It was okay, wasn't able to eat much of it. Don't ask what I ate instead. Overtired = weakness = Ben & Jerry's .... I know, it shouldn't be in the house. Janet, I know the innards, and they are talking right now. No one else was around. The pines are located on the opposite side of the nursery from the cash register and there was only 2 of us working. The other lady is 66, yeah, I'm really going to have her push it in. Suppose I should get busy, want to hard boil an egg for my salad today. DD#4 didn't come home again last night, she SAID she went to a study group for A&P, yeah right, I don't know too many study groups that last all night. She just doesn't get it, DON'T LIE. Her life seems to be one perpetual lie after another. She SO needs to grow up. I know I need to enforced some rules. I just can't seem to figure them out, lame excuse. Suggestions are welcome on what the rules should be for an almost 24 year old that is acting like a 16 year old.

I'm home, quiet day. Miss molly is sitting in the middle of the livingroom chewing up a piece of bark. Huge mess and I'm ignoring it for right now. Worked my tail off, cleaned the pond and got it ready for Mother's Day crazies, loaded all kinds of mulch and trees. Put a 400 pound pine tree into a truck with a topper. Had to crawl into the truck and push it back with my feet. Tried to electrocute myself, had shooting flames and sparks. humm, would that be workman's comp? Melted the outlet and plug, but just spooked me. I would love to crawl in and sleep for a week, 5 more weeks....then I will have a couple of days off!! Need some food, check in later, TTFN

Janet, how cool, seeing someone from idol. I bet you made his whole day recognizing him!! Phyl, how much do I owe for the deposit and my share? I need to check with Steph still and see when she is planning on swinging through and checking that I can have the days off. I should be okay as long as I ask now.

Nah Candice, that is a lot of texting outside of our network. Her phone is off and if she doesn't make payments on time they will turn the bill over to collections. Not my problem.

Got some additional shelves put up in the pantry, hopefully enough to get food put away. I also put some wheels on a set of drawers so I can move it if needed in the utility room. I also got a few things moved into the storage shed, not much. I just kind of wonder around trying to figure out where to put things, Definitely ADD. I'm suppose to be working on my masters unit and I can't seem to get to it. Quite frankly I don't care. Lousy excuse, But that is it. Need to run to the store and get the furries some food. I have to work tomorrow. Its cool and cloudy today, my type of working day. Here is how bad I am at focussing today: spent an hour separating the nails from the screws from the nuts and bolts and putting them into individual containers. Sad, but true. I think it is an avoidance technique. Well, I need to go do something check back later.

Janet, our problem is that we LOVE everything!!! Shopping for me is like a drug, it gives me a high. So needless to say, I have to avoid it like an addict. Let me into a quilt shop and I can drop big $$$ without even thinking. Today, I hope to get somethings organized. Didn't sleep well even though I was tired. DD#4's dog yipped at my bed off and on throughout the night. I considered deyipping him at one point. Had a chat with DD#4, she will have to lock him in her room at night. Salmon with ketchsup? oooooooohhh, I don't think I could do it, maybe mayo or tarter sauce. My insurance kindof pays for a new machine, but not enough to make a dent. Last time I ended up paying close to $3000 for it. I know my mask is too loose, but I also know that I need to get my sinuses clear, I haven't been using my zertec or flounaise. I just can't seem to remember. Yep Phyl, it just seems like us tonight. I'm hoping to get something done tomorrow to get the house more organized. I need to get it so it is least more relaxing. Phyl, the gym sounds fabulous!!! $25 per month and that they will freeze your account while you are gone is perfect for you!! I'll send you a check. I need to double check that I can get the time off from work, I'll do that this weekend. Came home and slept like the dead for 3 hours. I need to check my CPAP machine and check my ##'s for apnea, I feel like I did before I got it. Exhausted and am not able to focus. I don't know if I am quiting breathing or if I'm just beat because of everything that has gone on in the last few months. I have a masters project due tomorrow, and haven't even started. Oh well. I'll work on it for awhile, and live with the results. I think I have lost my favorite breakfast of blueberries, yogurt & Kashi. Since I got my fill & unfill, everytime I try to eat it, I stick. This leads me to surfing for food and eating things I shouldn't. I think I am using food to try to stay awake. I keep falling asleep at my desk, even when I have students. Well, going to go get some more coffee, then dinner of some sort. TTFN

Morning So Janet, did you make it over to your brother's place? Is it ready to show yet? It's Friday! I hope to get some more unpacked tonight and tomorrow. Plan on building shelves in the pantry, cleaning out my car, general clean up. Next weekend I have to work both Saturday & Sunday because it is Mother's Day weekend, but both days should be bonus so that will help pay for the fence. DD#4 is finally talking to me, kind of. Oh well, I must be a real witch, because DD#5 is barely talking to me because evidently I stepped over a 'line' when I told her that if her sister (DD#2) was going to let her move to her cell phone that she better not goof up and not pay. Which she immediately said I was comparing her to DD#4 and how dare I. That's life, again, don't really care. I'm not much of a mom I guess, because I no longer worry about tip toeing around them and working to make them happy. Either they are or aren't. Need to work on masters stuff tonight, but a nap is definitely in the plan!!! Our school made the local paper, again. A student set off a smoke bomb that required that we evacuate the building. School policy says that student is expelled, the HS admin expelled the student, the school board overturned the expullsion beause the parents complained and are 'influencial'. My kid would have been expelled and I would have probably lost my job. But is helps if you have $$$. Then one of the school board members posted a pic of students on his facebook page, photoshopped it so that the students were grouped around him with a title that said the students supported him. He is the board member that said teachers need to get a real job and also take a 10% cut in pay. The picture is one that was taken for the yearbook and was of the students on an Easter egg hunt. Legally who knows, ethically, it was totally wrong. What an embarrassment. It makes you NOT want to admit that you teach here. Well best get going, Have a good day, TTFN

Well, just paid $150 to disconnect DD#4's phone. Verison did take some off the bill, it now is only $862.33, she has 6 months to pay it off, but if she misses a payment she will be turned over to the collection agency, NOT MY PROBLEM. As of tomorrow, I will have an account elsewhere and as of right now, she has no account. Get this, she was texting the entire time we were trying to work out the bill. She STILL doesn't get it, it is everyone else's fault. I know she will be turned over to the collection agency, and I don't care. She originally had a $2000 bill, stupid girl! Was tight all day, couldn't eat breakfast, had some tomatoe soup for lunch and a few grapes, tried to eat dinner, no go, so maybe later. Despritely need a hair cut, so hopefully can arrange something for Sunday or Monday after work. Went to quilting for the first time in about 6 months last night. Shouldn't have, ate 2 small scoops of FF frozen yogurt and 4 little cookies. Now I remember why I quit going, there is always sweets and I don't need them in my face. I hope the weather turns around so I can start riding my bike. I found a great path to the bird refuge. I'll need to pace it out and find out how long it is, but it will be fun to see all the baby ducks, etc. Believe it or not, I wasn't even angry at DD#4, part of me was chuckling on the inside. I know, not very motherly, but I made her get someone to cover her at work and hauled her sorry butt in. Well best quit complaining, thanks for listening.

Phyl, how wonderful, twins, that must be a bit of a shock! Should be a lot of fun! Candce, now you get to see the flat section of Montana where I grew up. I think the last 4 months are cachting up with me. Even with a nap last night I'm still struggle to catch up I don blink, everytime I close the eyes OI keep punching the wrong letters because I blink and the eyes stay shiut. Well just found out my phone is shut off because DD#4 owes...$1000 to the cell phone company. She just came home and wanted me to pay it. NO WAY IN HELL. So I will take her sorry butt into the cell company, cancel the subscription, and go get my own phone and she will go with out. She has me royally pissed. She borrowed $800 from her dad, which means she must have owed close to $2000. grrrrrrrrrrrr, I'm awake now.

Way struggling to stay awake, don't dare close my eyes, even blinking is hard, I keep dozing off. Just tired, didn't go to bed until almost 11 pm. What was I thinking! Going to be a LONG day, hopefully i can come home and take a nap...yeah right! Need to get some papers graded! Denise, how horrid, I'm so sorry. Another reminder to live to the fullest and do what it takes to be happy. Well, I unpaced 2 big boxes, didn't make a huge dent, but I feel better about it. Shut the TV off and actually did something productive. Could be that I finally remembered to take my B and amino acid shot. You'd thing as good as it makes me feel I'd remember. Candice, Peter is such a sweetheart, it is a shame that his brother is a pothead looser. But now Peter can say that he gave it a try. Phyl what a nightmare. I'm glad you uncle is generally okay. I know it is hard to make those old codgers do something they don't want to. We all knew something was wrong with dad a year before he finally went in. I doubt if the results would have been any different. Social workers are like teachers, lots of hours, heart break and little money. But she needs to check out some financial assistance. How about if she rents the car for a few months until she gets on her feet. Hopefully she kicks the 'boyfriend' to the curb AND make him pay some major child support!! But what do I know about relationships, don't have one and ALWAYS make poor choices. Went and bought some groceries, the kitchen is still not organized enough to really cook, but I got some frozen skillet type dinners that were on sale and salad stuff. I was way hungry today, nothing filled me up, weird. okay let's get real, I was way HEAD hungry and just kept eating. Am looking forward to doing nothing tonight. I hope to spend sometime in my bedroom. I'd like to find some of my clothes and the sheets haven't been changed in 2 weeks, not a big deal, but since I planted trees I now have muddy puppy prints over everything. Phyl, what an irritating day. I bet Earl just about drove you crazy! It boggles the mind that after you spend some big $$$$, people don't follow up. They should have totally been kissing your backside!!! But hopefully things are taken care of and you are done with all the irritating things. Found a small corner of the counter in the kitchen...it is actually there, had some questions about that earlier since it had been buried since we moved in. I know it takes time...and I am well known for my patience....yeah right! Need to buck up and have a yard sale...I hate them, don't like going and like having them even less! Met the neighbor with the 2 big dogs last night, seems nice enough. I think she is just overwhelmed with taking care of her place. She does have a lovely pile of scrap wood that I'd like to check out for picture frames, all grey and weathered. food yesterday was okay, I think tightness was in the air, because I pb'ed all day long as well. Steph, hows the kettle korn business? Janet, maybe they will have to give you a raise or pay overtime since you are having to take extra work on? Phyl, I have a CRV and just love it. They sure have changed the style, I wouldn't have even recognized it as a CRV. Congratulations, ummm new car smell, love it. Came home from work and planted 5 more trees. The remaining ones can wait a little bit, they are in pots. DD#4 was gone for the weekend, but got home last night at about 7 pm, brought the boyfriend home. He is a chef in the airforce stationed in Great Falls. He seems nice enough. Grew up in Alabama and has that whole 'maam' (sp) thing down. Don't really have a feel for him yet. Part of me says...'You can do better than that', but that is the mom speaking. He is a bit on the 'flabby' side and drinks Mountain Dew like Water. But that is pretty irrelivent. I guess if DD#4 feels comfortable with him and he treats her nice, it shouldn't matter. Maybe it is just because she has NEVER brought a boyfriend home before. I think it is the teeth thing, I've always had a thing about teeth, they REALLY bug me if they are crooked, and his are. He either has a unusual accent or he has a lisp. Okay, now I sound horrid. "DD#4's boyfriend is a flabby, crooked tooth, lisp talking Alabamian." Slap me girls, I deserve it!!! What he really is, is a nice, quiet young man in the airforce from Alabama. LET IT GO!! Janet, nothing done with the organizing, I had to get the trees planted. I hope tonight I can get some of the outside put away into the storage shed, that is the goal for tonight. Need to finish some masters work this week. The final project of the year is due on the 1st. Candice and Peter are pure sweethearts. They were here only an evening, but I just loved meeting them. Well, got 6 of the 15 trees planted. So much for organizing stuff, now I'm just hoping to get some laundry done. Went and got takeout from the local mexican restraunt, never got lunch, it will last for several meals. Tired!!!!!!!!!!!!

Janet, I'm not going to be lifting too many trees, most are too big. One of the landscapers that buys from the nursery made me a deal on digging the holes and placing the trees. All I have to do is align the trees once they are in the holes and fill them in....or so I hope. Denise, we miss you too! take care of yourself. Ahh sweet retirement!!

Ah Phyl & Candice, it looks like you had a fabulous time. Phyl, thanks for the pics. My goal for today after planting my 15 trees...find the kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom. I am going to have to add some shelves to the pantry and linen closet, then I should be able to organize things so I can find stuff. Still can't find a lot, where is my strainer? Haven't figured out how to provide a barrier to the cat's stuff that it accessable to the cat but not dogs. Doggy gates usually work, but the cat's arthritus is acting up so she is having trouble jumping the gates, while Jordan appears to have become a mountain climber and is climbing all the gates. I can live with him eating the cat food, just put less down, but it is the litter box nibbling that is really grossing me out. So if anyone has some suggestions? Brought 3 more trees home tonight and will run into the nursery tomorrow morning after they get unloaded. These 3 are just huge and gorgeous flowering crabs. Probably weigh about 1000 pounds each, i still can't believe my boss just let me take them home, but they were going on the burn pile. So tomorrow all will get planted and then I hope to find the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I can't deal with the disaster much longer. Work on Sunday. My new adjustment is really working, today I had tomatoe soup for lunch, I needed something warm and easy. I'm having to learn all over. Well, I'm going to watch Criminal Minds and clean during the commercials....just because I can. I could leave the TV off, but I don't want to and it has been a long week,

Simon gets his drain out on Monday. It was a great opportunity for DD#4 to have to 'step up'. She either took Simon with her for the weekend or she paid for his kenneling.
