  1. Focusing on eating better is definitely key - however, you really can have just about anything in smaller amounts (that has changed for me slightly now that I am tighter - and some people have trouble with certain foods even when they're not tight - you learn as you go.

    Soda was truly one of the hardest things for me - Diet coke and Diet A&W root beer! However, sometimes towards the end of a time period when I need a fill I can still enjoy smaller amounts taken in sips.

    Restaurant eating takes some getting used to - I actually enjoy it now - not caring if I spend a little more money on high quality food knowing that it will be about 3 meals for me (talk about getting your money's worth) the weirdest part is some of the stares you get from servers when it looks like you've barely touched your food - I think they feel I didn't like it - so I'm sure to tell them I loved it I'm just not that hungry.
