Dr. Erbella was my Lapband surgeon. He has such a wonderful bed side manner. He also did my tummy tuck 2 years after my Lapband. I still see him for my fills. He is in Bradenton Florida. I travel 2 hours one way to see him, that's how great he is. I have already sent 2 of my friends to see him, they love him too. -
Help please? liquid coming up at night

I am having the samething. I have the bad reflux at night and throw up in the middle of the night. I also throw up after I eat meals. Almost like I am a balimic. I have gas pains in the middle of my chest, just under my chest bone. I am scared I will have to have it taken out. I have had it in for just over a year and lost 83 pounds so far. I have come way too far to have it taken out now. -
I had my 5th fill last Thursday and I was doing very good after. But now its 4 days later and I cant eat. Everytimg I eat anything that is not a liquid it feels like it get stuck and it hurts like hell. What do I do will it get better or do I need to get some taken out? I really dont want to get any taken out I just want to lose the wight. So should I just stay on a liquid diet? Not quite sure what to do.....any help out there????

I had my 5th fill last Thursday and I was doing very good after. But now its 4 days later and I cant eat. I had my surgery Jan.14,09 and I have lost just a few pounds since. I have had 3 fills for a total of 4cc. I do fine during the day but at night I cant sleep so I get cravings and I ruin my day. What can I eat to keep the full filling so I dont ruin the good in my day. I am desperate to lose the weight. My hunger pains get so loud at night it wakes the dogs. What to do, what to do???

I am going in this week for my first fill. Right now I get so hungry like I did before I was banded. Will it less better the fills? I get to the point at night my stomach is growling so loud and it hurts. What can I eat at night that wont be so bad for me? I am in desperate need of hunger help!!!

i had my band on Jan.14th and I get my first fill in 2 weeks. I am dying at night. I get so hungry at night. My hunger pains have never been so loud or so bad. I never was this hungry before I had the band. I am not sure what to do about it either, but I know I cant go to sleep with the growling like that. What to do, What to do????

I was just like you, thought I would be back to my life in a few days...ya right. I am 12 days post-op and am doing good but up till a week ago I was still in alot of pain. Now I get a weird feeling at the port site. It feels real hard and somewhat painful from time to time and other times I just feel the scare tissue. Woundering if my port is twisting. Hope you are getting better each day.

I was banded Jan. 14 and I live in Spring Hill Fl. Would love to keep in contact with the Central Fl. Bandsters. I am just now feeling somewhat like I did before my band. I sometimes feel like my port site gets hard like a small rock and just a bit of pain. Then other times I feel my site and all I feel is the scare tissue. Anyone else feel this way?:confused:

I am now 11 days post-op and am getting more energy everyday. But I have been feeling this weird feeling at my port site. It feels as though the area where I think my port is gets hard and just a little twinge of pain. Then other times I feel the site and all I feel is just the scare tissue. I am not sure what I am feeling. Woundering if anyone else has had the same feelings?
