    Sad story :(((((

Thanks Wannalise!! I really do know that God has something better out there for me, just tough to see it right now. I feel just like you did, I dedicated everything to them, I worked every Saturday for the last 11 years!!! I will NOT do that again, even if it means I have to take a big pay cut I will find something enjoyable to do. I have a lot in my retirement, but refuse to touch that, I will roll it into the new company! You know after all of these post I know understand that I'm not the only one who has been through such a tough time. I still have a few mixed emotions, I have had lots of texts from my guys, and I miss them too. Life goes on....I know it will weather I'm ready or not! :sad0:

    Just had the VSG!

Dan Consider yourself a very lucky man that you did not have the lap band! It is a complete and total pain in the butt!!! So glad to hear that you are doing so well, good luck!!!
  3. HA Ha I actually like the mocha's they have a 7-11, just don't even bother with them anymore. Plus not working, there is no reason to go out and buy a coffee. I'm so glad that I have never really been hooked on soda, it is hard enough with coffee!! And I WON"T be giving that up anytime soon.

    Sad story :(((((

Hi again ladies Okay I'm trying so hard NOT to be pissed!!! I sent my manager an email on Friday asking him that he NOT take my account balance out of my vacation hours that I have coming. Well I get an email from him today, stating that is exactly what he did!!! For those who have not been following this, I work for a retail tire store. I have had an account with them for 25 years!!!!! Long before I ever started working for them. There was NO need to take my account balance put of my last check! I have 127 hours of vacation coming to me, I owe appr. $1100 on my account. The bad thing is I have to report to the unemployment office that I got paid for X amount of dollars! Which I won't because they will have taken my account balance out of it. To make a long story a little bit shorter, I will get screwed!!! I will claim it and then not get any unemployment for weeks because of the amount I'm supposed to get! But DID NOT get!!! To say the least I'm PISSED!!!!! I asked Friday, when I knew it was my last day for him NOT to take my account balance, the bad thing it is up to him!! So of course he took it!! I have NEVER missed a payment in 25 years! I will never undersatnd why he did this!! Sorry to ramble.....I'm just so upset about all of this!! Help!

    Today I heard something

OMG I would like to have a dollar for everyone who thinks this is the "easy" way out!!!!! All of us who have actually done it know the difference!! There is NO easy way out!! I have to say that NOT being able to eat what I want when I want is NOT easy!! I'm so used to eating away my feelings!! I have had a very tough last few days, and all I wanted to do was curl up with a bag of Cheetos!!!!! Good thing about this surgery, I can only have a few and I'm stuffed!! Good luck to you!!

Holy CRAP is right Lee!! This turning 50 stuff is not what I thought it would be!! you know the good thing about all of this, is that I get good a good amount of money to sit home. I'm going to try my darndest to find something that I really want to do! I have worked hard my whole life, and had decided years ago I would not work past 60. Well time will tell! I will take my retirement money and invest it, or hopefully roll it over into my new company...what ever that might be. Thanks for the support :biggrin2:

Hey Chancie!! Thank you for your kind words! You know I have learned to dread the dreaded 50!! So much has happened in such a short time! I turned 50 in January! For me this job search thing is new too, I have always had people call me and say "Hey come apply here" I'm scared to death about trying to find a "new" job!! I know that something else is out there for me, I just have not found it yet! PS you are a true inspiration to ALL of us!!!

    Sad story :(((((

Hi Lee & Janet! First of all let me start by saying thank you, for being there! It has been such a crazy few days! You know I was in management for 20 years, made VERY good money and decided that I wanted a life! I took a job thatI absoltely loved, it paid well and had a great retirement. Well here I'am after 11 years and i find myself out of a job. You know if it were not for the fact that I just turned 50, I don't think it would bother me near as much!! It is tough finding someone that wants to take on someone who is "OLD' LOL Lee I'm looking forward to taking you up on that dinner, you know I'm a cheap date!! And Janet, we are going to get together!! And soon, I would love to meet you face to face! Thanks ladies, you mean the world to me!
  16. Hey Lee I had a mastectomy, a breast reduction and lift, my girls definatly know which way is up!! I really wish I would not have had so much taken off, but all is well!! They are perky!
  17. Hey girls!! Just wanted to say that wearing "fitted" clothes has been very hard on me!! My niece has bypass on the 15th of March and her mom (my sister) had not seen me in 6 months said OMG I can't believe how much weight you have lost! Okay fast forwad to that evening, my sister, her other daughter and a few other people got together. I wore a VERY fitted t-shirt and my levi's, I usually wear my baggy levi's and a baggy shirt. My sister was like OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!! She could not believe the transformation by just what I had on! I'm so used to wearing loose baggy stuff to hide the fat, that I have a tough time wearing fitted stuff!. So I gues the moral of the story is "flaunt it is you got it" HA LOL
  18. VV Just glad to see that you are doing so well and that you are doing your best to get your liquids and proteins in. A lot of people never get enough of either in the first few weeks, it is so hard when you feel full all the time! Good luck for continued success!!
  19. PNW That is not a coffee!!! That is a sugar high! LOL And the funny thing is Starbucks is my LAST choice of coffee places, I like Jitters!
  20. My addiction was mountain dew!! Luckily it was only one or two a day, but that was a lot of caffeine!! I have not had any pop since surgery, I drink Crystal light all day long. Much better for me anyway! But I did not give up my coffee.....NEVER will I do that!
  21. Hey Lee and PNW I guess I was one of the lucky ones, I saved a bunch of my "skinny" clothes!! I had my levi's in size 14, 12, 10 and an 8!! I have blown thru all of the sizes except the 8! I can get them on and I could wear them but they are a bit snug. I'm so happy that I saved them, and a bunch of shirts. I have given away 18 bags of clothes so far!! I need to go through my closet again! PNW congrats on the size 12's!!!! I keep losing inches, but not a whole lot of weight. It is totally fine with me!
  22. I just finished chemo and my hair was just growning back, I think this is at my very highest Okay I got it! Not the picture I started with, but it will work.
  23. Hi Slim!! Yes the original picture that I posted did not work. It was a family picture with all of my sisters, my brother and our dad! So now it looks funny that I put "I'm the one in pink" since I'm the only person in the picture! And God forbid that I would put my BOYS in pink!! How are you feeling??
