I had my surgery on Jan 31, 2009 and I have lost a total of 31 lbs. but the weight is not coming off...I'm frustrated...:confused:

Well, I am pretty excited. I got my approval from Aetna today. Lorena @ Dr. Spiegal's office in Houston submitted my paper work on the 15th and they called back on the yesterday the 16th to tell me the good news. I must have screamed so loudly! My students were like Ms.? What's going on and when I told them, they were all like YEAAAH MS. B's gonna have her skinny surgery now!! It was cute. Needless to say, I was really happy to hear that. Does anyone know how much more time it takes to get the surgery date after your approval from your insurance?

Okay, I am a teacher so I can sit and teach when I need to and everyone knows that I am embarking on this journery.

Yeah, I want to know that too. I met a lady and she told me that she was able to go back to work two days after her band. She claimed that she could have gone back the next day, but she just wanted to take the extra day off...is this really possible, or was she just pulling my leg

Okay, I got it. I am going to go to Wal-Mart tonight. I will definitely keep the pillow at the top of my list. What medications did you all take that were subscribed? How many meds did you get?

Are you talking about stuff to make smoothies with? Do you mind reccommending a brand to me so that I can go and buy some? I am going grocery shopping on Tuesday and I need to have everything ready. You were also telling me about Wal-Mart broths, what brands are you talking about? Also, can you all tell me how long it took you to be back up and running or to return to work. I can't miss that many days.
