I was on liquids for a week but then I just couldn't handle it anymore and started eating real food .. Im just 198LB and lost 10 pounds since the surgery .. am I harming my self by eating when i'm not suppose to ? because I thought since I'm not that obese I could eat until my next fill :thumbup: .. because I know if the thing doesn't get tighten I would never lose weight .. please help

It's been a year since I had my operation and I lost 55 pounds. I'm 5'4 and 145, should I go for my first fill? because I don't really know whats my ideal weight, besides I still feel fat. LangDetectit>en YahooC and

Its been a year since I had the operation ans today was my first time vomiting. Iate this slice of meat that seems to be the reason, I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up and when I went back to sleep and woke up again I felt bad abdominal and back pain. Is it just gas or is the food stuck please help.

It's been 9 months since I had the surgery and everything seemed to be fine until last month where I started to feel this heavy feeling on my chest specially when I wake up. I feel I want to burp so bad but I just cant, I have to wait for like 2 hours until I finally get it out. What is this exactley ? is it acid, heartburn ? it's true that I haven't been drinking water a lot specially when the weather got cold. Could that probably be the reason ?. Please help

I was tighter than usual last night ate a fast burger . It is really painful specially when I'm standing and when I lay down i'ts bad back pain. Is it just gas or is the food still stuck ? Because I feel hungry again but no way I'll eat anything.

I am 6 months post-op and a couple of weeks ago I got the stomach flu which of course lead to a lot of vomiting. I thought that the band might have slipped. tho I started eating more than I use to after I got healed. But now I feel extreme tightness where it is really hard to eat anything. Why all the sudden ? Is this normal ? Because I was thinking about the fill but now ..

So last Sunday I felt kinda sick and had to go to the hospital. They checked and said it might be the swine flu but I had to wait for the results, so I call them back Tuesday and they say its just the regular flu, even though the doc was almost positive it was the swine. Later one of the nurses told me that it might actually be the swine but because the symptoms are the same they cant really say. That was not really the problem, but the stomach flu I got after taking the medications. Terrible nausea and hardcore vomiting. It wakes me up everyday with my head in the trash can. So now when I try treating the the flu with Tylenol and other coughing medicines I get the awful stomach flu :bored:. I even get sick when I drink Water. How can I treat both ? please help me

1- I'm confused, most people here say that their post-op liquid diet is for only 2 weeks while others say its 6? I know it probably depends on the surgeon but I need a clear answer is it 6 or 2, and please don't tell me to follow my surgeon's orders because he gives the same diet protocol to everyone. My weight pre-op was 90KG and I'm 165m and now I'm 84KG 2 weeks after the operation. Should I just go for it and eat some fish at least. 2- When do I need the fill? and again consider my surgeon dead.

I understand, but if I stay on liquids the whole month then start eating salads and what not the second month I'll probably lose the 40lbs .. then what's the point of the band ? I need to be restricted ..

I thought it will do all the work actually but thanks .. sorry for the stupid questions but my doctor is so popular down here he does like 4 a day so he didn't have time to give me details YA .. he just gave me the plan .. 4 weeks liquids .. 4 weeks kinda solid .. my question is when do I get the fill ? He told me in 2 months but I think thats too long .. I just need to drop 40lb ..

Its been a week since the op .. I lost 10 pounds in the first 5 days .. but after the the pain went away I started eating fish and chicken and gained like 4 pounds .. Im pissed off really but hell I cant drink soap all month! .. any suggestions? Im like 90kg so not a big issue ..

I did it on the 13th and Im flying on the 24th .. Its a long 10 hour flight .. then connecting to another 5 hour flight

I just got out of the hospital 2 days ago and only stayed there for a night .. the sore is pretty bad and honestly 2 pills of Voltaren made me feel a lot better .. but I heard that it can damage the poach is that true? .. and if it does is there any other meds that can cure .. the doctor said the pain will take about a week and there is no way I can go to sleep without a pill .. I mean its not like extreme pain but it hurts bad ..and another thing Im 165cm and 90kg .. how much can I lose in a month ?
