My surgery went well. Dr. Juarez did mine at Fresno Surgery Hospital. The surgery took 28 minutes and I was only out for about 1.5 hrs. I was a little groggy when I came to and they seem to want to get you out quick but they know best. There was some pain/discomfort but the pain meds helped with that. I tried to stop the pain meds too soon so I could go back to work after 3 days, bad idea for sure. Take your pain meds and relax. After 1 week though I only felt like I had done too many sit-ups, a little sore but not too bad. I had mine done 5 months ago and I have lost 65 lbs. so far. Just make sure you follow the diet, liquids, puree, solids. you will be happier that way. Good Luck on the 21ST
