Phentermine cures my head hunger which the band does not. I am back on Phentermine after i hit a plateu. It gives me energy and i feel like barely eating. It also gives me so much energy i feel like i can work out forever. I can do the stairmaster while on phentermine for 30 minutes and do elipitical 30 minutes plus weights. This is good for me because i am losing weight by being able to push myself in my works outs. I feel like i am on a rush on it and can keep going and going like an energizer bunny! After i hit my goal weight of 150, maybe i will come of it, but in the meantime, combined with the band is the duo i need. I have lost 61lbs since banding on 4/23/2009. 120 lbs in total from my highest weight of 308! 36 lbs to go to goal weight ! YOU GOTTA DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO!

Do you wish you had a bypass?
Goal150 replied to Goal150's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sandi, I hear ya! I wish i had the bypass, its just so hard with the band. I wonder if i can get the bypass on top of my realize band but i guess my insurance will not cover it. We are getting a new insurance provide and will talk to my Dr on getting the bypass. This sucks! -
Well, its been 5 months out and i have lost 47lbs. I am happy for the loss but have not lost any pound in Sept. I wish i had the bypass instead of the lapband. I work out 6 times a week and no loss in a month! i know there are some days that i have not stuck to the diet , but mostly i have been good. I am currently size 14 197-200 lbs. I got off my water pill (Maxide) and i am beging to think the only reason my scale went down once to 195 was due to the water pill. I go to get a another RX today and i bet i will be back to 195 by tomorrow if i take the 1/2 pill. I still look fat at 5.4 inches. I wish i did the bypass, i think i am one of those people who need the malabsorption provided by bypass. I have been fat all my life and all i want is to be skinny. lapband is a GIMMICK! i think my loss has been due to my hard work busting myself in the gym 6x a week. I am depressed and i am slowly going back to my old ways. I need encouragement.

Looking for support / feedback to get back on track!
Goal150 replied to ReadyInCT's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have also been strugling with getting back on track, i have been eating all the wrong food and in huge quantities and have not been to the gym,its so easy to go back to the old habbits. I have lost 50lbs since 4/23/2009. I dont know if this is within range but i do need to get my head together. Weekends are the worst for me. -
Shut up you bigoted racist and get a life! I bet you are white and if it was a white man in the white house you would not be posting this crap. Bush bankrupted the nation by going to irag when there were no weapons . Go have a casserole or something!

My bras were getting too loose and my gals were looking like dropies from the weight loss. I invested in nice bras from Soma intimates, cost a fortune but its worth it. The lift i get from them is incredible and the sales rep measured and gave me the correct size.

I have to confess....
Goal150 replied to IWannaBeSkinny's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I confess that last week i pigged out. Yesterday i pigged out and i have been suffering. I had terrible stomach aches and now i am scared that my band could have slipped or too much food caused the pain. I had to take a hydrocodene, the pain was worse than my appendectomy. I confess that i will not cheat again, this is a hard lesson for me. No more cheating , today i am so scared that i have not eaten a single things. Only fluids.
