Me too! i took of mine yesterday and now i have all these rashes blistery looking around all 5 of my incisions, what should i do? should i call the DR? HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Nope i lost about 60+ without the band, and i was banded on 4/23/09 and have lost about 10 since the band and now i am stuck , the scale is not moving.

Mine came 3days post opp, i have not been able to loose weight!

I am African so i got a round too big butt but i still got a gut and hips! but i tone my glut by doing 30mins on the elipital at the glut level and very high intensity like between 6-9 intensity. Do this for a week and it will tone your butt forget the lunges the sliding elipitcal gives my but even more definition.

Yes, me too my scale wont move was banded on the 23rd got my period on the 27, maybe thats why i am not losing, can anybody help me ?

How about some chicken? Take chicken thighs, cilantro,red onions,tomatoes and put them in a crockpot with a dash of olive oil. Add goya seasonining ,curry poweder,nutmeg any spices etc and let cook off untill tender and shred with a folk. Add some chicken broth while cooking. this is my African meal. Its yummy and soft,and just chew the shreeded chicken and makes it yummy. I could not do that blended chicken , it was nasty and tasteless after i bought some rotissere chicken. this version is better.

I decided to tell only one of my co-workers and no one else ,i trust her to keep it to herself. I just took a PTO and said it was a vacation on APRIl 23 i got bandend and was back to work on Tue next week. There are alot of HATERS AND GOSSIPERS in my team and i have learnt that you need to keep your personal life separate from your work life. Let the haters and gossipers be your motivators and once you start loosing weight they will even talk more and hate on you . Epecially the ones who look down on you to feel better among themselvers , i cant wait until i loose my weight and i can dress and look better.

Hi , I was banded on 4/23/2009 on 4/27/2009 i walked around my complex for 30mins. Yesterday i did the treandmill for about 50mins at 2.8-2.5 speed. I had been working out 5x a week before the band and could do the treandmill at 4.2 but now i can even make it to 3.0. I had some major back pain after the treandmill so i will do walking arround the complex. The walking helped me pass the gass the whole night last night and i am lossing! 12lbs since surgery 60 prior!

Use green tea with the laxative effect once in a while also cleanse by taking some laxatives once in a while this helps in additional to cardio.

Tomorrow is the day i get banded. Last night i pigged out and have done so for a week, did anybody over indulge before their surgery? I only have to be on the liquid diet today! Finally after a year of fighting approval and a lifetime of being severly obese i will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

April 23rd ! The 23th is a my b-day Nov23rd and i also see this date as a the birth of me.

they claimed i did not show two years BMI the 1st two times which i did. Then the second time they said they wanted five years, i went and got all the records. Then they denied me since i sent it to the wrong address. Sent it to the appeal process and said that i had exhausted my appeal. Then My DR had appealed on my behalf and that had been denied as well. Then told me the 6th time that i had used all my options and i had to apply as a new patient. Went back to my surgeon and we reapplied and then i just got approved one plus year later. They were just giving me a hard time. I had to prove BMI of 42+ !!!!!!!1. Good Luck.

Aetna sucks! i went for over a year trying to get approval, got denied six times and i had to reapply. I just got my approval and i am scheduled for the 23rd. Give them all weight histories, anywhere yuo have gone to the Dr and been weighed for the last five years . Goodluck dont give up thats why they want people to do.

Yeaaaaaaaaa i got my date after one year of fighting Aetna/ I am scheduled for April23th,could do it sooner as well but i have to complete work tasks before i got in , after years of low self esteem and no sense of worth, i am going to finally live my life to the fullest. Thanks God.

Hello, i am from GA, i am with Emory Johns creek Dr Johson, i got my approval and i am waiting for my approval letter so i can schedule. It took me 5 denials and a year later to get Aetna approval and now they are taking their sweat time to send me the letter.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i got approved!!!!!!!!!!! Waiting for my letter so i can schedule date!!!!!!!!!!!!! 150 here i come!!!!!!!!!!!

i got denied again! they said i did not submit to the external review board within 60days i am so depressed and crying i am suicidal, i would rather die than be fat! i will try a lawyer.
