Hi, my name is Michele. I am a 41-year-old female from Wisconsin. I am the mother of three beautiful children. I received my Lap Band on 01/09/07. I was lucky to find a wonderful surgeon in San Antonio, Texas who performed my surgery. I fly back down there for all my fills as I wouldn't trust anyone like I trust him. I started my reseach on the Lap Band in 2006. In late 2006 I contacted Dr. Jorge Rincon at the saweightlosscenter in San Antonio. I was very impressed with him and decided to start my journey. Now, exactly two years ago today, I am a new, healthy, happy person. I started at 305# and as of today, I am 130#; 175 pounds gone forever!!! Thank you to Dr. Rincon, Christine, Lucy, Marivonne, Doris, Mindy and all the new friends I have in my life for helping me on my journey!! Michele

Believe it or not it can be done. I was banded in Jan. 2007. I started at 305# and I now weigh 130#. I am healthy and it feels great. You are doing a great job!!! Just remember dear, you didn't gain it over night and you're not going to lose it overnight either!!! I'm here if you need someone to talk to. Michele

I had my Lap Band on 01/09/07. The gas is probably from the gas they filled you with when they put your band on. Walking is the best thing for it. Get the gas moving and out of your system. Congrats on the start of your journey!! Michele
