I am SO excited for you guys that have your surgery dates!! Today was my final dr appt. I only had to lose 13 lbs for them and I lost 17!!! My goal for myself was to see 255 this morning even if I had to be butt naked. And guess what?! I SAW IT!!! 255.8!!! (BUTT NAKED!! LOL) :party: But I saw it! So for me I've lost 21lbs from my start weight. I just have to turn in my exercise log next tuesday (my last class of the 12 week required) and then we can turn in my info to Aetna. I hear they respond quickly so I am very excited. I am signed up for my pre-op class on the 8th and tenatively for surgery on the 11th. I can't get too excited until approved BUT.......:mad: Oh, and just to make ya'll mad at me--I only have to do 1 day of liquids before surgery. :thumbup:

Ya know those packages that you can use to saute meat with? Those are also GREAT for veggies!! We like Zesty Herb and garlic something. There are lots of kinds to try. I also like the steamed ones in the bag.

For some reason that one really made me laugh!! I love it!! I'm glad I'm not the only weird one naming my band. I'm still waiting to get in June. Looking forward to Gizmo :cursing: but not to Gremlin! :cursing:

Sorry, I forgot about the ones in the beginning. I don't think we can add it to an existing poll. I made a list and tried to get other suggestions but didn't get a big outcome. I just want a name. I personally don't like June Journeys, I'd rather have anything but that, but if people don't vote that's what it looks like it's gonna be.

Did anyone have to have their surgery when their Aunt Flow was in town?? :ohmy: I only ask cuz my Aunt Flow will be visiting on my surgery date or I could postpone the surgery till the next week. :smile2: What should I do?? Any decent experiences?? :tt2:

I think you'll be fine cuz the dates go beyond 2 years. Don't stress. Aetna has been known to come back fast with their answer to you'll know very soon.

My only comment is to not make it such a big deal of a sit down conversation. You sound more scared to talk to them then they will be to hear what you have to say. Make a big deal about the changes you have to do cuz they will learn from that and have to make changes too. Don't make such a big deal about the surgery--if you act scared or worried what they will think you will scare them and that will add more guilt your way. Good luck it will go fine however you pursue it.

On the June forum we have only 2 names that have seriously come up. June Journeys 2009 and Jumpin' June Bugs. If other serious ideas are posted maybe we could re-vote. After reading someone else's post from another month they could not add to the poll so we'd have to do a new one if desired. I would just like us to have a decision on our name cuz it's sort of an identity thing for me. So cast your vote!

I got chewable Vitamin C today from GNC. It's not great but tolerable. It's cherry flavored, chew it fast and have a chaser it's not too bad. I may try to crush it up and put with a Protein shake. I also bought. Woman's Ultra Mega vitamin chocolate shake. It's better mixed with a Protein Shake, and more filling cuz it has Fiber in it. I also like the Isopure Mango made with milk.

OK! Someone created their own social group with the name they feel everyone wants. Not sure how this is possible but the poll I created is gone--I can't find it anywhere. Attempting to be mature about this and ignore the presumptuous, immature acts of another I will attempt to start a new thread with some more ideas that may make everyone happy if they stay with an open mind.
