I used to always eat breakdast, but since banding i just cant eat in the morning, so i just have a protien shake

hope everyone had a goodd fourth, im doing ok. i can eat, and i find myself getting hungrier sooner and more often. I have to be careful not to eat too much. i totally had to stop weighing myself, i was doing it 3 times a day. so i will see my weight when i see the doctor on the 28th

So i am a little over a month post op. i had to stop weighing myself as i was getting a little obsessed about it. i can eat chicken and fish just fine so im eating alot of that. but im finding this week that i am getting hungrier sooner then at first. i dont go back until the 28th of july.

i was only going to take 2 weeks but then figured that the letter they gave me to give my employer said 2-4 weeks and i have the time so im taking it and making sure im better. 1 more week off! and i dont want to go back! lol

i feel good! the nurse at bgh gave me ice packs while i was in the hospital for on the incisions and that helped alot! just take it easy and dont rush things, i tried cleaning too soon after and boy was i hurting!

I was just banded on May 18 , trust me it will fly! Trying to get stuff organized at work and at home was nuts! Good luck!

Ever since my surgery my sleep schedule is so off! Probally due to the naps! I am trying to all my liquids in but its so darn hard somedays! I dont really have a ton of pain abd thats kinda bad because then i try to do too much and i get exhausted! Did anyone else have the hiccups after surgery? i have had them 2 times, and im not drinking too fast im doing what they tell you too....Jello=bad it just made me want to throw up. i never did like it too much before. I go for my 1 week follow up on tuesday

thanks alot! i will be at the next meeting. I kinda had on oh my god what did i do minute in the recovery room but besides that everything is cool. Cant believe i get full after a medicine cup of liquid!

I just had my surgery monday, i just got home from the hospital. Dr hoffman said my surgery went beautifully. Im really not having alot of pain just a little tender, the nurse i had at the hospital last night was so awesome and helpful! she kepy getting me ice packs and that helped so much. i just keep getting really super nauseous when i get up. They told me if that keeps happening to let them know. but besides that so far so good!

thanks! im trying to focus on the positive so far so good! Im not sure how i feel about drinking the stuff you have to drink the day before...i will be at a fund raiser for the ten lives club...may have to leave early!!

had my final appointment today. there only concern was my white blood cell count was high, but both lori and barb think it is because i was on steroids due to my asthma. by this time next week i will be banded,, i cannot wait. when i had my gall bladder out i was so afraid! this time i am not i am just excited

I got my date!!!! May 18!! im so excited!

they didnt want me to come back alls they said is i need a cpap im very bummed. but i guess i gotta get it!

I had my endoscopy today and it was my first Face to Face meeting with Dr Hoffman, what a doll he is! So nice and caring! Now i meat with Jeanie friday and physc evaul next week. i am excited to see my weight friday. I havent weighed myself but my fiancee says he sees a diffrence so i hope the scale sees it. I have been following the plan just need to excersize more!

Sleep Studies are the worse! I just had mine and it was soooo bad! Waiting on my results I started on south beach last wed....im so sick of eggs for breakfast but im still on phase one and have no idea what else to eat any suggestions?

for me it took FOREVER!! I sent my application in by fax in early August. I called every other week and finally in october was told they had my app and i would be in a seminar soon. I got my letter to attend the seminar in January!! But i went to the January 18th seminar, had my first appointment 2/4/09. Tonight i will have my sleep study, then march 4th my endoscopy and somewhere in there i got in real fast for my physc evaul. So im hoping i can get all done and lose theweight i need to lose before i see the doctor in April. Good luck! I hope i doesnt take to long for you!

thanks linda! My first appointment went well Im having a sleep study this weekend, my physc evaul is next week and i have to have an endoscopy done with dr hoffman and that is on 3-4-09 so heres to hopeing everything goes smoothly

1 week until my first visit :thumbup: i have all my blood work done i called Suburban Psychand they dont take my insurance!

Im trying to get all my results together. My biggest issue is my doctor has started his own practice so he doesnt have my complete records anymore and in order to get them i haveto go into the old office, so i may need to take a few hours off work. I cant wait for my first appointment. I wish i could have made the meeting tonight but i had to work until 6 im switiching my schedule a bit so i can start going to them

do they make everyone do a sleep study? My fiancee says theonly time i snore is when im stuffy like with my allergies and about 5 years ago my doctor had me do an over night oximitry test, measureing the o2 sat in my blood and he said it never dropped below 98%. just curious

is the support meeting wed? or Thurs? i havent had my appontment yet i will on 2/4/09 but i would love to hear what everyone has to say

I wish i could walk this weekend we only have one car and the fiancee is working but i will be there next weekend! I have my first appointment. Christa made me call the second i got to work this morning and i got to talk to marietta and my appointment is 2/4/09!! im doing my cortisol test this weekend. ands and getting all my results together!
