Well today is the day. Today I go to my PMD to talk to her about the lap band. So what am I doing up at 0300am? Watching Lap band procedures on the internet... Well might as well be fully informed. I have to start by saying thank you for this site. I am still thinking about the band and I am making an appointment with my PMD for a consult. I am scared, excited and just plain confused. I have been looking thru pics and forums and getting most of my questions answered and even ones I did not think about..lol. The one question I do have but have not found an answer to is...can you see or feel the access port? :thumbup:

Hi, Im actually from California. Have not looked to see if my insurance will pay for some or part of the band yet. Will know more after my MD appointment. I only know of one person who has had the band personally so will have a better idea once I speak with her. Will keep you posted

Thank you so much for posting this picture. Good to see the real thing. I am thinking of getting banded and this site has helped me alot.
