    Frustrated

Thank you all for your responses. I found a website where I can track my calories so I will start to do that. I have my first fill next Friday so hopefully I will start seeing some results. Thanks again!

I have exercised a few times since my surgery, but nothing regular yet. I will focus on protein over the next week until my fill and see how that goes. Thanks for the advice.

    Frustrated

Honestly, I'm not eating that much. For example...yesterday I had a protein shake for breakfast (typical breakfast), Campbells Tomato Soup on the Go for lunch, and about 1/2 c. mashed potatoes for dinner. I'm still in the soft foods stage so what I can eat is limited. Maybe I will try and focus on protein at every meal instead of soup and carbs (for lunch and dinner).
  5. Hi All, I was banded on 12/18. I went in for my post-op appointment on 12/24 and had lost 6 pounds. I was so excited I was finally losing weight for once in my life, but since then I haven't lost any weight. I'm getting so frustrated. I feel like it is becoming just another unsuccessful attempt at weight loss. Is this normal? I know I am consuming fewer calories than I was pre-op so I don't understand how I couldn't be losing. Could my body be going into starvation mode? Any helpful advice is appreciated. Thanks, Kelly
