Anxiety.... fear....stress.... all normal right? but what if you keep asking yourself if you really want the band? ...... I want to be healthy...I want to loose weight... but because of the anxiety and fear every now and then I think...I don't want to do this! .... why should I have to go through surgery??? why me? but, then I tell myself I need this to get healthy.... and live a healthy life for my family and I.... or...OR it is because in a way I don't mind my weight......my husabnd and daughter love me the way I am...... BUT I do care that my health is an issue......... what were your thoughts days before your surgery??????

Im on day 14 of my 2 week liquid diet.....Im going in tomorrow for surgery.... 2 weeks nothing but boost and water....thats it! day 6 and 7,, I was a little hungry......other than that not to bad.....:confused:

Iv lost between 15 and 20lbs.... (just bought a new scale...my old one sucks) ..I will know how much I lost when I get weighed at the hospital... ....very excited!.... 3 more days girls.... and guys! :) -
ALL good points......great advice.... thank gawd for this site!!!!!:frown: ... I will be getting my band on wednesday the 24 of march..... Oh and yes I'v done my homework...LOL..... 14 months of reading and asking and thinking..... I think Im just worried about everything and it makes a person doubt their decision........ Thank you all soo much!!! .....everyone has their down days right???? there will be many more..... Im just going to have to keep on walkin forward!! :thumbup:

My daughter is in daycare...... we have been sick all winter.....gastro ... everything....now lice is going around....ugh!...... that is my biggest fear also.... Im on anxiety pills because of that fear.....and many more reason too........... day 9 on boost....... 5 days left!!! :cursing: -

Im still on my 2 week pre-op liguid diet.....sooo cheating would be 'food' ...lol.... I only can drink Boost and water.... day 6 was hard... day 7 was a little better and now day 8 seems to be ok....I guess.... so far anyways! ....hope you feel better soon.... Im sure everyday you feel a little better ...right?
can't wait to meet you on the banded side...hehe! take care

OK....day 6....its early but its day 6 ..... so I have 3 scales (one from my grandma) and two that I had.... they all say something different... soooo 2 scales are telling me (reg scale and a digital) that I lost 19lbs... but the other one is telling me 15.. sooo Im thinking 15 lbs sounds about right.....but holy shit I lost 15lbs in 6 days :w00t: so... Im getting rid of all three...and going out to buy a weight watchers scale! :thumbup: 8 more days...... :thumbup: :smile2: -

Hmmmmm day 3 and a little hungry....but not to bad.... :blushing: my scale sucks a$$! .....I got on it day 2 of liquids and it told me I lost 12lbs... :laugh: soooo I think I need a new scale and I might wait to get weighed at the hospital,,,, 12 days left .....:laugh: :laugh::thumbup::w00t::thumbup::eek: -

day 2...on liquids.. not to bad.... and so far cooking for my hubby and daughter is not that bad either.....lets wait and see what I think on day 10...:thumbup: ....12 days left! :ohmy: -
Day two..... just boost and water!!! ....and nothing else for 2 weeks....(12 more days) Im a little hungry but Im due for a shake in a bit.... nothing I can't handle ... :thumbup: ..... lets hope we feel this way all the way to the 24th!!! ... can't wait!! ...:ohmy:
