I received my band March 6, 2009.  My starting weight was 279.  My health was worrying me.  I didn't sleep well.  I was swollen all the time and legs, knees and feet hurt constantly.  I was tired as soon as I woke up in the mornings.  To date I weigh 197.  I fell so much better.  I am no longer swollen nor do I hurt anymore.  I have much more energy now.  It has been 1 year and 4 months since my surgery and I have 29 pounds before I reach my goal.
