its been a while since I last logged to the forum so I just saw yous msg ,sorry for that..
me too got banded by Dr.Mousa, I think he's the best in Kuwait, I was banded on may 16 2008, I lost almost 50 lb and I'm doing great!

the gurgling and the weird noises has nothing to do with the tightness or irritation, i keep getting these sound although i have no pain or over restriction, u should ask ur doc about it. -

this why i did NOT tell any one about my surgery, only mother and VERY close friends know about it, even my brother didn't know about the band. and I'm so happy this way. -
try to lay on ur back and press gently under the long incision , its much easier to detect it while laying back..

don't worry this is soooo normal , just as every one said follow ur docs do and don't, u will have NO restriction till u get ur first 2 or 3 fills. -
don't worry about it , ur band will relax in a couple of weeks, I've got mucus too, so this is normal.

go and eat what ever u find in ur fridge, its "guiltless pleasure" since ull be banded and ull lose all the nasty pounds u will gain, ull NEVER regret it.. believe me.

thanx brandy , im really happy that i found this great forum, this is what Ive been looking for.. great supportive ppl.. and about my fills i had only 3, my doc took a loooong vacation this summer so i had to wait for him.

just want to say hi to all, I was banded 5-13-2008, i lost 32 pounds and my goal seems soo far, I'm glad that i joined you guyz in this great forum.
