Nevermind about not replying...lol...I still don't have the board down yet...oops. But anway, my surgery is 1-19. :thumbup:January 19th is my day!! Dr. Ortiz in MX. Why hasn't anybody replied to this thread in Jan? Looks like Nov or Dec was the last update....I wanna know how you guys are doing?! -
I was soooooo scared, but had to pretend like I wasn't because my husband was so against it. Once we got there and he met Dr. Ortiz, he relaxed (and so did I) he's a competent and confident surgeon who does this surgery so often he could do it in his sleep and with people with as low a BMI as we have, it's his least risky surgery and you will be up and about the next day-no problem. You are taller than me and slimmer so you should see quick results!! Send me some pics and keep me up to date on your progress!!

When people say protein drinks...what do they mean? Slim Fast is 10g of protein and 5g of fiber. Is that a good 'protein drink'? Thanks guys. -

Just doing research online - wondering if I should do lap band. I"m thinking yes. I might go the Mexico route with Dr. Ortiz. I am self pay. Does Dr. Vaughn do fills for surgeries done in Mexico? How much does he charge you?Thanks...You look great!
