I can't wait 4 my surg and to see all the progress I expect from this banding. Have heard from many people in their 'golden years' who just want to get healthy and are a "queen of diets" like me!:ohmy:

I guess YOU R my first 'friend'! I need all the help I can muster. So far, I am very very happy with my REALIZE LAP BAND. Got it Mar 26, 09. I am losing to 'beat the band" too! I am one of those who is prone to cheating...therefore, I follow every single suggestion and rules there is to be successful. Lets be friends. !

about getting banded? It was the best thing I did in a long time. I can't believe how easy it all is!

I am sooo glad I had the REALIZE lap band surg (Mar 26, 09) I have lost 54 lbs and I get up every day looking forward to a new meeee! Besides following all of the banders eating rules, I go to WW. Yes, I am 71 yrs old, and I want to be healthy!

Not sure where 'around here is". However, I am a grandma and live in Az. I thought you might be a little older than the usual lap band bloggers since 'granny' is a part of your name. What prompted you be banded?

You just have to keep this 'granny/71' informed how you do! my surg date is march 26th and my hands are sweaty already!

I am NEW and have my seminar date set for 1/14. After the necessary check=ups hope to have lap band early Feb. Here in Phoenix Az/St Lukes Hosp. My Medicare and Tricare Ins will pay all as I do qualify for being 'fluffy"
