I have to say that since I found this web site, I have been reading and reading and reading. I am due to be banded in less than 2 months and the closer I get, the more spooked I get. I know I am doing what is right for me and reading your stories has helped me. I see that most of you have added pictures and weight chart and things. My step-son will be home from the airforce in Aug, i'll get him to give me computer 101 so I may jazz up a bit. Again thanks for all your imput

HEY THERE I am also started the process, first I have to have my gallblatter out and then 6 weeks later the band. I met Dr. Jones for the first time and I really feel good about having him for my doctor.

I really don't have a surgery date yet. I guess I could get that May 26th that is when I meet Dr. Snow. I was told informal it could be in June. So far I am very very very happy with BIDMC. I head Dr Schneider explain the process at BIDMC. I know 3 people who have had the gastric bypass from Baystate and are doing great. I see Dr Higby at Baystate, well really at Mary Lane. Then my primary care and surgeon is at Wing Hosp. I guess you could say I am speading around the ins. $ LOL.

OK I am not that computer savy, but i'll do my best. will be meeting the surgeon may 26th Beth Israel Hosp., Boston Ma I would like to know what would be the best taste wise for the liquid protien?

i was reading my spelling misstakes lol i work rotating 12 hr shifts....so i don't have all my brain cells together sometimes

to the question of going to boston, most of my family is there and i have a famuly that works at BI. i did look into mercy hosp but did not fill right, just something spoked me. I have to say i am getting excited
