yes i thought the phych thing was a little off the wall. but you have to go thru the motion to get approved. (insurance wants it), i am not keen on the travel from western mass to get to BI, but its worth it for the best surgeon. Dr Jones was great and because i had breast cancer issues in the past was very understanding to my own issues. it will be hard for me to make the post op meeting i also work 12 hr rotating shifts. my son and son's wife live in Canton good reason to stay over and spend time with the grandkids.I agree Angi is great!

how cool is that! can't wait till i plan a vacation with the grandkids

day 5 tried to sleep in a bed last night, ended up back on the sofa. i've been sleeping a great deal. that must be due to the liquid pain med and a healing thing. started to drink flavored water but seem to like plain water at this point. had a 1/3 of a can of liquid protien shake (bannana) not bad. i do have to remind myself to slip slow............ i think i'll set myself up a puzzle to build today to help the day seem productive
-
hi Nanaviv been sleeping mostly since i've got home, try and get your liquid pain meds filled right away. i am not in big pain but not taking any chances, so i am taking the pain meds now. will keep you up to date

new day best of luck to you

wORKING THIS COMING XMAS 12 HRS SHIFT, BUT LOVE THE HOLIDAY. MY BEST MEMORY IS OF THE MIDDLE GRANDGIRL OPENING HER PRESENT. SHE WAS 4. I GOT HER A KEY BOARD MORE TO KEEP HER OUT OF HER OLDER SISTERS HAIR LOL. BUT WHEN SHE OPENED IT SHE SCREAMED "OH MOMMY LOOK". IT WAS SO REAL IT MELTED MY HEART.

Hi everyone! 2 weeks to go and starting to get nervous. Work has been harder to do with all this weight to move about, it depresses me at times. Now I am trying to lose a few pounds before operation. How do i get a tickle chart on my posts?

tommygirl i have gone thru cancer treatment and still have to see doctor every 3 months, and a form of treatment every 6 wks. so i am jumpy anyway. just because i did not choose Mercy doesn't mean you should not. i was told you should find out how many times the sugeon has done the procedure (do not want to be one of the first 100)and you should not be the first. i am also going to BIDMC because my son's wife works there also so i'll have extra eyes on me. I have to say i did not check out Baystate, but i am very happy with them for my cancer treatment. __________________
