hi all.......staying away from power tools for a little bit for now. look like finger is healing good and they will not have to cut open to drain. fingers crossed (ha ha) everyone seems to be doing great except sherry (sorry about cold) chris that would be great, yes i will be in canton, i guess the kids are planning my days on feb vacation..going to keep grandma on the go i was thinking if you call BI and speak to michelle she can give you my phone number well hope everyone is staying warm deb

hi nana finger is fine, missed the bone, just need to keep it from getting infected. what is it that you can not do in a protien drink? is it milk ? soy bean? i am sure there is something out there! deb

hi folks, it's been awhile and i thought i would hop in to say hi. this wekend i put a nail through my finger with a nail gun. ok i passed the idiot test. so i am slowing down. i am staying about the same weight wise and joined planet fitness down this way. i hope to learn how to use the machines to build my arms back up ( need to get back to pre chemo) i am real bummed that i missed the met in braintree hope to catch the next one. michelle tagged me for baby sitting while she is at work at BI during school vacation. so i'll be around then tues wed 20 and 21st of feb and y one want to get together. deb

Yes she does! great job sherry!!! just got in from florida (naples) late last night, the only thing i liked was the weather warmer. Everything looks the same to me. stayed with my partners sister and hubby. the big problem is they don't eat but junk food. good thing i took down my protien drink in a can in my luggage. one night we ate at the elks club with their friends, first time i had to explain to strangers why i ate soooooo slow and just a small amount, felt a little funny. well alot funny well there is no place like home hope the pre holiday's are not stressing anyone out deb

why does that happen, sends before i am done. i can operate a 240 MW power plant, but home pc is another story sherry way to go!!!!!!!! can't wait till we meet sunday the kids came down and we went to a fund raiser for the boys and girls club. companies buy trees and decorate them so people can buy tickets and try to win them. so i do this with the grandkids and give them tickets to put in the cans of the trees they like. of course first we have to find my company's tree. I get a call from michelle sunday night asking if i am playing a joke on her and she got a call, they said she won my company's tree. what are the odds first of winning and 2nd to win my company's tree. too funny. so grandma went and took down the tree and shot it down to the kids made great time coming home 1hr 15 mins. i have been under some stress lately and found one morning it almost hurt to drink my coffee. i think that might be my problem that happened with the restrition and i probably agravated (sp?) my inside and the restrition a mind is a trerrible thing to loose ha ha i am planning of going to the BI thingie in march with michelle oh hey sherry scott is great, i was talking to him about ken coming home and that after stress thing (ken was sleeping alot) scott is realy nice well folk i know this post is choppy, but i am operating on fumes. hopping a plane to florida for a few days today (of course the weather here will be nice) laphappy it's all up hill now!!!!!!!!!!!!! way to go deb

i talk with michelle tonight and seeing i am working over xmas, we have penciled in my shooting up that way for 6th and 7th of Jan. I think little xmas is around then so maybe not to screw up the little ones i have to check it out. But they know grandma work screwy days and hours. its still early but how does that sound Deb

vanaz welcome i am paying for BCBS of mass by myself, at work i have BCBS of Alabama and that would not pay for the band just the bypass. its taking a bit for BIDMC to bill the secondary ins so i have not seen it paid for yet but they did approve. as far as proof goes i think my primary care doctor took care of that. I took fen phen so that was one and i said i did weight watchers. I would start with a call to your primary doctor.i would think just a letter from the doctor should be enough. try that also i believe BIDMC checks ins to see if they pay for it, there are new guild lines in jan. but i think that for the most part for the hosp doing the surgerry i did call BCBS of alabama to see if they paid for it, thats how i found out they would not. so i got BCBS of mass good luck deb

aaamom you don't need to be BI gal! we all have the same goals so that makes us sisters. :confused: hey gang come mid jan i am on relief shift for 5 weeks. that means if nobody puts in for a vacation i will work mon-fri days so i get the weekends off people at work are to put in for vacation 2 weeks ahead so the closer i get i can get you some dates for coming up there. i started walking again with 2 weeks goofing off, i feel it this morning well off to work.have a great weekend deb

sherry after what happened with the restrition, i told dr jones i rather skip the fill for a bit i think being stressed out and getting something stuck was the problem but everything is ok now dr jones said some people go a year with out a fill so i will keep going along like this for a bit i can't even imagine what it would be like with a fill it was great going up that way for a few days i love spending time with the kids and meeting chris you are doing great and i agree it will be nice to be able to shop anywhere for cloths hope to meet you someday deb
