Hi there is the phentermine safe with the band?I was on phentermine for awhile about 2 yrs ago and did ok for a while,but did gain it back over some time.My phene Dr. in Las Vegas prescribe topomax with the phenetermine also.Topomax cures your sugar and carb craving (10mg),your thought sounds like a good idea I may consider this myself .Green tea is also good too lots of energy and it flushes you out.Let me know how it going for you good luck. Hi Everyone,I would have to agree he is awesome and very compassionate.I was banded by Dr.Salimitari on 12/31/08 weighing 217 lbs,I had my 3rd fill on 04/07/09 @ 5.5 CCs total with new weight @ 211 lbs.How come my stories aren't as successful?Should'nt I at least be losing about 10lbs a month? What is stragedies or diets is everyone using to lose? How much CCs should you have to get the ball rolling? Where is the medium with the CCs? My band is only 10ccs,I'm half way full and only lost 6lbs not good.I still have 60 more lbs to lose to be at my ideal weight of 150lbs,what should I do? Loser Bander

Wow all of your stories are great.I don't seem to be doing that well I weighed 217 on my surgery day 12/31/09 and today 04/05/09 I only weigh 210 pounds.My progress don't seem as successful as everyone elses,what do I need to do?I should at least be losing 8-10 lbs a month right putting me at 187lbs losing 30lbs or so.I'm eating oatmeal everyday,having a weight watchers meal with about 250-300 calories per meal,and drinking lots of green tea to boost my metabolism.Why is this task so hard for me?Someone pls help~~~~~~~~ Long Haul Driver

I too was banded on 12/31/09,I'm feeling really lumpy on my upper right side of my stomach below my breast.I'm schedule for my first fill Fri. 2/01/09 what could this be? Is everyones port and band placed in the same area?Can someone give me alittle advice pls? LAFLOW 09

Hi Everyone,Banded 12/31/08 feel like sh***.I did cheat a little had a banana 01/06/09 after broths and low fat yogurt.My dr. said to be on liquid diet for 9 days ,then start my pureed foods .Do I jump the gun too soon with 2 days left? I'm a long haul truck driver and it is very hard to stay put out here.I was starving to the point of depression.I did not vomit or feel nausea,chewed my banana very well in small bites.Am I putting my band in jeapordy?I only need and want to lose 70 lbs.Any advice would help.Thnks

This is Flowla,I'm new to the board.I just became banded on 12/31/08 from Top Surgeons in Beverly Hills,Ca.I'm on day 5 and feel very bloated and sore (belly area).Can I eat tomato soup? It is a liquid, what can I really eat I have heard so many different suggestions.Has anyone in lapband world been banded at Top Surgeons in Beverly Hills,Ca?
