Hello everyone, Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, Life is so busy. I still come here daily to see how all of you are doing. It sounds like everyone is doing so good. I feel really good about my wieght loss and level of resriction. had my second fill on August 4th, I think the Dr added another 1 cc so am at 3.25 in my 5cc band. Went on vacation the following week,:clap2: and only lost two pounds, But was able to eat just about everything that I tried, this week I can really tell that I have restriction. It feels really nice, to eat and know I won't be hungry for 3 hours. I still morn food a little, some days are worse than others. Congrats to everyone, and for those of you that are stuggling, keep the faith, It will be so worth it in the end. Updated my tickers, both total and sept. challenge. Everyone have a great day.

Hello everyone, It has been a very long time since I posted. Although I come here daily to find out how the rest of the May bandsters are doing. You guys are all great, and very inspirational. I did have my first fill yesterday, It has been 7 weeks since surgery. Dr said I was doing great and to keep up the good work. He put 2.25 of saline in the band yesterday. So for the next 48 hours I am on clear liquids. For those worried about their first fill, I was a little nervous, but it is really painless. Really nothing to worry about. I just wanted to thank all of you, Everyone is doing a great job. I am up for the challenge for September would like to be down another 30 pounds by then. Good luck to everyone, use the tool that will all have now to reach all your goals. Will try to post more often. So I can be accountable for the challenge.

Well just thought that I would update everyone on myself. Surgery went well on the 12th, I did end up staying in the hospital overnight. they did a little more than just put in the band the Dr went ahead and took out my gal bladder, and fixed a small hernia. I did get to leave the hospital on saturday morning, then it was back to the hotel for the whole day. Finally made the three hour drive home yesterday. Spent the night in the recliner here at home, last night, slept pretty good. today have just been taking it easy. sipping water and clear liquids. thanks to everyone for the prayers, and good wishes and good luck to all those yet to be banded. thats my update. thanks

Have jumped though all the insurance hoops, and I'm having surgery on the 12 of May next Friday I am very excited and can't wait, but a little nervous also. I live in Eastern Washington and my Dr is in Western Washington. Will be traveling over to west side on Thursday night with my Partner and my Mother, to be banded, on Friday. I am curently on a clear liquid diet and have been for 5 days with 5 to go. First couple days were very hard but hasn't been to bad lately.
