There are times where I think what did I get myself into. I had to have gall bladder surgery a year after being banded and I have developed gout. They claim that these things are caused by rapid weight loss. BUT, overall...I would do it all over again. I no longer have to take blood pressure meds, I no longer have sleep apnea and I feel so good about myself. I do have some trouble with naseau. and go through phases of having trouble keeping food down, but in my mind that is a small price to pay for having a NEW healthy ME that I could not get any other way.

Thank you for your comment. I feel great too! I strongly encourage you to have the surgery if you can. It will change your life. It changed mine in a million ways.

This message is in response to the comment you made of my picture. I had band surgery two years ago and I have lost 120 lbs. It started out really slow, so if that happens don't be discouraged. I lost the most weight about 1 year into it. I exercise and am very active now. I wish you all the best!

This is in response to your comment to my picture. You asked me what I attribute my success to. In the beginning it was diet, but the last few months I have had to up the exercise. I am now jogging two miles every other day. I never thought I would ever say I jogged. haha Hope this helps some.

Thank you for the comment to my blog and I have often wondered what things would be like if I had not shared my surgery with my brothers and sisters, but I know that eventually they would have figured it out and confronted me, my weight loss was so drastic and I have lost so much. I have tried for years and years and years and had no success, so they would have been very curious as to how I could do so well. I wish you the best of luck with your weightloss journey. You are sure to do well!

Thank you for the comment to my blog...I think that if I could do it all over again, I would not tell anyone, but then again..my weight loss was so drastic that they honestly would have known something was up? I wish you the best of luck with your surgery and weightloss journey. I am positive it will be a success!
