How did your fill go? Hope it gave you restiction. I am going to go back and get some more put in. I guess I am impatient but I am 7 weeks into this journey but still have no restiction. Oh well this too shall pass, I hope.

Thank you for that sage advice, I have been hearing this alot, so I know there is something to it and I appreciate that people are honest with others in letting them know that. I have heard that with the fills, sometimes it takes a while before you get the restriction that is best for you. Not a one size fits all thing from what I understand! That is awesome that you have free fills for life! I also understand that the maintenance is key, such as continuing visits to have adjustments, etc. I wish you so much luck and can't wait to see how well you do! : )

It's going slower than I expected but apparently it's going just as it should. the first time i went fora a fill last Tuesday the PA couldn't hit the port because its tipped. I went back on Thursday and The Dr. was sucessful and put 3 cc's in. As of today i feel no change. He said I could come back anytime so I think I will go back this week. I was self pay and all fills and appts are free for life!

It didn't happen on the 20th. The PA couldn't hit the port cuz it had tipped some. I went back on the 22nd and the Dr was able to put 3cc's in. It didn't hurt...just a needle stick. I stayed on liquids for a day. I haven't felt any difference. It has not restricted the amount I can eat. He told me to come back if I don't feel restriction so I am thinking of going back next week. Good luck with your appt tomorrow. Let me know how it goes

Please tell me how you felt during your fill and how you feel now that you had your fill. Do you feel restriction? I go Monday for my first fill

Thanks for letting me know I am not alone. Sometimes it feels like it when you really don't know all the rules yet. I am going for my 1st fill at 2:00 today. I am going easier on myself now and trying to just enjoy the ride.

I too feel this way. I have not had a fill yet nor was my band filled at surgery. I am starving always. My surgery was Dec 23, 08 and my first fill is Jan 26, 09. I hope it will help. I have only lost 11 lbs and I walk 2 miles 5 days a week UGH!
