Hi Cecile. It seems it varies greatly from doctor to doctor. I'm on day 18 after my surgery and this is my first day of pureed foods. I ate squished up scrambled eggs for breakfast and well-blended tuna salad for lunch. I actually didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would either. New York City is a tempting place to be if you're a food addict. Good luck!
