A similar situation happened to my husband just before the holidays. He had a fill that was either too much or it aggravated the esophogus so much that swelling would not allow even Water to pass though. He was unfilled and went through the holidays this way. He gained about 10 lbs but is now back on track with a good fill that is working for him. Try to remember that your doctor wants your body to heal from the trauma. It may mean a small weight gain but you'll get back on track too. Hopefully, your doctor uses flouroscope for fills. My husband has had fills with flouro and without. He is a fan of the flouro. I'm just beginning my lapband journey. Just had my surgery Jan. 8th. Good luck to you.

I agree. Call your doctor asap. I had surgery Thursday. I'm not consuming much more than a shake, a soup and a popsicle in addition to water. I haven't felt hungry, though. Perhaps the gas in my belly is masking any hunger. I feel fortunate in that I have not had any nausea, either.

I've told friends, family and co-workers. If asked by anyone else, I will tell them I had surgery. My husband, who had surgery almost a year ago, chooses to tell people that I don't feed him anymore :thumbup:. He's more private than I am.

Surgery is scheduled for Thurs. Jan. 8th. I will meet the surgeon today. I'm counting down the days. I've been on the liquid diet since Dec. 26. Dropped 8 lbs so far. Good luck to all others about to be banded.-

A simple and sincere acceptance of the compliment without a bunch of fuss will make the other person giving the compliment feel as good as it makes you feel receiving the compliment.

I'm scheduled for Jan. 8th or 9th. I've started the pre-op diet and looking forward to an improved self in 2009. Best wishes to all others having surgery in January.

I originally planned to use Dr. Kim but he was no longer available through TLC Edge. He was my husband's surgeon and my husband loves him. I've selected Dr. J for my surgeon through TLC. He too came highly recommended. My consult with him is Jan. 5th.
