    January 09 Group Name

I love the name - I know some real guy Hotties. Each day I get a little more excited but a little more nervous too. Hard to read some of the troubles people are having but just have to think positive:smile2:. I hope everyone feels great with the beginning of the new year.

    Prepping for surgery

thanks, what about pain medications - they say they don't want you taking Nonsteroidals but I have heard to be sure to have some liquid tylenol... can you take that? I have fibromyalgia so I am trying to figure out what I am going to do for pain/anti-inflammatories. I know I am going to have to change some of the medications - did you just have them ordered at Walgreens/CVS or did you have to get them somewhere special. You have no idea (or maybe you do:tongue_smilie:) how much this helps calming my nerves and I am sure so many others prior to surgery:smile:

    Prepping for surgery

Thanks, going thru the check lists myself. I was wondering how much help you need afterwards. I live by myself and am having a friend stay with me for a couple of days... will that be enough. She lives only a couple of blocks away if I needed anything.

    Intro

Hi Maybell, I am about two weeks behind you and have all the same concerns (as well as worried about caffeine and some of my meds being a problem) as you. I plan on taking it one day at a time, I know I look forward to saving a lot of money on not buying soda - I agree by the time we consider the lap belt, we are ready for it. I have been overweight since at least 4 years old (oh wait a minute, I don't remember before that so I bet it was a problem before that too:laugh:) Good luck with your pre-ops and surgery. Here's to a happy and healthier new year for all of us!!

    Brigham and Women/Faulker Hospital

Thanks for the reply. I am scheduled with Dr. Robinson and hope to get surgery in February. I know I will be having a lot more questions and this site has been great. I don't think I will regret anything, just need to get over my cold feet.

Hi All: was looking to see if there was a MA forum when I found this. I am going to get my surgery date assigned on Jan 8th. I need to ask you all if you would do it again. Sorry just a little nervous.... everyone says it is normal but was it all worth it:sad: Worried on so many levels...
