    ****Sensitive Topic****

Well, ladies my husband thinks that I'm his new play toy...LOL! He ain't no good at all! I finally figured out what his game plan is: he get me all rowled up then watch me go for it...nasty I tell you and down right sneaky! Have fun lady's it ALL GOOD and getting better!
  5. You are doing okay, don't worry you have the rest of life to get this figured out. The bumps in the road are just that so, stop and regroup and tell your doctor what you are going through. I had the same problem and my doctor desided to removed all of the Fluid from my band and quess what? All of the fliud had already leaked out! All of this time we thought there were 5.5 cc's in my band and I just wasn't getting any restriction. Now I have 5 cc's in my band and I've never felt restriction like this ever. My surgery was 1/12/09 and I have only lost 24 lbs. my dr said I did it on my own. So now I've expeirenced getting something stuck for the first time and it was horrible...I haven't vomited in over 14 yrs. but the best part is that it was only fluid no chunks I think I would have fainted  LOL!
  6. :eek:Hi Amanda, I have 4cc total and I am worried about getting the next fill because I do have restriction but zero self control over hunger. I am eating the wrong things from time to time, I eat mostly peanuts and raisin as a snack but when i get home from work I am in snack heaven everything here is bad for me and I want it and feel guilty afterwards. Do u still get really hungry? Do u feel too tight?

  7. Hello! SOS! please count me in. I'm a Alabama girl suck in Arizona...no support here at all. I've never felt so seperated from people.
  8. Hi Michelle, how are things going for you?
  9. It's just nerves...please don't let anything I said change your mind (Please do it)

  10. YOU BETTER NOT BACK OUT!

You will be fine... go back and read that post again ... I had my surgery on 1/12/09 and it has saved my life.

  11. Welcome Newbie,

Ask me any questions you like I will answer you honestly and if I don't know the answer I will help you find it.

    Ann

  12. Don’t get too stressed out to be honest, you can still have the foods you love just a 1/4 of a serving is all it will take to satisfy you. Dr. M will not put anything in your band during surgery but you will still have minimal restriction just from having the band placed. So, don't expect to get full super fast just practice listening to your body and you'll know when to stop eating I promise. Ann

  13. No, I don't but I have a clerical job and there are times when I have get up and down to go over to the counter to help people with questions and I don't want to have to hold on to anything to get up nor do I want to hold my stomach which will draw questions on innocent concerns. I want to be able to work and know that I'm okay. Today I feel wonderful and I Monday I can go back to work on full blast and enjoy it. I also started back walking today on my treadmill and I feel good.

It is normal to want to eat everything you love and enjoy just do not over do it. Choose your last supper wisely...I chose Red Lobster and it wasn’t all that I hoped it would be. I should have gone to Long John Silver's instead. LOL!

  14. No I am not working yet, I'll go back on thw 25th. I took 2 weeks off and boy am I glad. Some people say they went back to work after taking a few days but, that in my opinion is not a good idea. I haven't had any complications and wounds look wonderful but this is a major surgery and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

It was the best choice I've made for myself in a very long time. I had my first follow-up appointment today and Dr. M was very impressed with my incisions and my overall progress. He doesn't fill your band until the 2nd week out. He believes in allow your body to heal from surgery to give you every possible chance at being successful.

    When is your surgery?
