. on a side note and a great one for me. i went to buy me some shorts for vacatiopn trip coming up. i was thinking i might be able to wear a size 44 in waist. but come to fine out, i was able to fit in a 42. i was like WOW! :thumbup::thumbup: i haven't been able to fit in a 42 since like 9th grade. so you see why im so happy. i got to buy clothes from the mens section and not the big and tale section. i almost started to cry. it was a very big deal for me. Congrats!!!! It's great to go down a size but it is really great to skip a size!! :cursing::thumbup:

I have lost about 75 pounds from my heaviest and still have 70 more to loose. I know i'm gonna have a lot of hanging skin so i was wondering if anyone else on here has ever done it or has considered it.

Thanks for all the replies. My wife has researched all the places and has decided to use Dr. Campos in tijuana. She has a friend that was also banded by dr. Ortiz in tijuana and she had her lower body lift by Dr. Campos last week. She is getting a lower body lift, lipo to lower back and waist, that will be fat grafted to the butt and arm lift. With airfaire and accomodations total is about $9000. This was the best price we could find and she really liked the receptionist that she talked with that answered all her questions. Haven't decided what to do but i wanted your opinion on what you would do.Ok here it goes: I have an oppointment for another fill on July 16th. I can tell my restriction is not what it was when i got my second fill about 3 weeks ago. I was real tight then. I still get stuck alittle and the restriction is fair. I leave for florida on July 23rd for 10 days of vacation. What would you do? Would you go for another fill or wait untill after vacation? I'm undecided.

Didn't realize how right you are. I used to get up out of bed to see what i could eat first or leave for work early so i could pick up something before work. Now i : drink flavored water, check out this site, and drink a protein shake on the way to work. When wife was banded in Nov.2008 i tried the protein shakes and hated all of them. I thought i was gonna have a hard time with protein because of that. About a month after i was banded i tried another one just for fun. I don't know why but it taisted like heaven( lol).Most of my cravings for food are gone too so i guess thats gonna help on vacation. We are going on vacation the last week of July and was making a list of things to buy for the trip. It used to cokes, chips, and all types of junk foods.Now it's : cases of water and drink mixes, protein bars, and 2 cases of protein shakes. It's amazing how things change!!!:thumbup:

LOL about the cheese fries. I can't eat any kind of fries. Maybe i'll learn that one day. I got wize today ordered from Arby's and gave my curly fries away and took the meat out of the bread and just ate it.

Been reading everybody's posts on and here and we all get frustrated at the band from time to time. but everyone on here has done a wonderful job. I was at work today and i realized how easy it was for me to work off of a ladder. You know people who has never had a weight problem takes some of the simplest things for granted. It's nice when people start noticing how much i've lost. Got my second fill Thursday and have lost 8 pounds since then. Down to 265. I wouldn't take nothing for this band. But it is frustrating when i want to eat and can't eat as much as i would like too. But i know i can't have it both ways and loose. Anyway everybody keep up the good work!!!!

Jason We would love to come but we will be on vacation. Take a lot of photos so you can put an albulm on here. Have you thought about Emailing a copy of your flyer to the Dr.'s office so they could post it in their office? some of the patients might not be able to attend the support group meetings. I looked at the waterparks website looks like a great family oriented place. I didn't even know it was there.

Congrats Debbut and Venswife for the date for surgery. Jason you've done a great job. Congrats on 102 pounds. Hope everyone on here is doing well. I seen the post about a get together that jason started. I would love to come and meet everyone but i don't know if we would be able to since we are going on vacation the last week of july and i usually have to work 6 days. The good news is i have lost 20 pounds since surgery and almost 70 since thanksgiving. Scheduled for a fill on May 21 and i need one really bad.
