Dr. Miles or Dr. Schmitt patients
Crimson Tide replied to Savedbygrace's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Why does it seem easier to make bad food choices and not eat right verses eating right and staying focused? I had lost 120 pounds from my heaviest but have gained 4 pounds back. Can't seem to get back on track again!!! 40 poundsfrom goal (well was 40 now 44) I wonder if it's just a mental block or something? Has anyone done this before? And if you did how did you get back on track? I know i'm rambling but gone to far to turn back now!!! Just confused a little. -
Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
Crimson Tide replied to Band_Groupie's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I was banded April 6, 2009. I started my preop in November 2008 when wife was banded. I lost 45 pounds on the long preop diet and down a total of 117 pounds from my heaviest. I have 40 more pounds to loose to get to my goal of 200 pounds. I have lost from a 4x shirt to xlarge. A size 48 waist to a size 38. Seem to be stalled right now, but atleast i'm not gaining and holding my own through the holidays! -

Lost: Two 50-pound bags of sand
Crimson Tide replied to rmbj0721's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congrats on loosing 2 bags of sand. I too have lost 100 pounds but sadly i still have 40 more to go. My ticker don't reflect 100 pounds but i didn't start it at my actual weight. I really don't know actual weight because 350 pound scale would not weigh me. Anyway i'm well on my way :bored: -

Wife has lost almost 80 from her highest and i have lost right at 100 from my heaviest. we are going on vacation in two weeks to Disney and a Carnival cruise. I'll have some new pictures up by the 3rd week of October.

Mexico anyone?? I have a surgey date.
Crimson Tide replied to Stacy0614's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Stacy, me and wife both went to Mexico and used Dr. Ortiz. It was a great experience and i would recomend it to anyone. I couldn't have gotten any better treatment here in the U.S. We chose to stay at the Lacerna. The person was correct about sometimes it is difficult to find after care for mexico patients but i don't guess they realized that you are just 2 hrs. away and can go back to Dr. Oritiz for your fills. They use flouro during fills. Anyway wish you all the best and if you need any answers to questions PM me or write me and i can give you my wifes email address. We would be glad to help any way we can!!!! -
