I am getting ready to have the band. I have had all my labs and stuff done. I am getting alittle worried about the procedure and outcome. I guess I hope the weight comes off faster than I have been told that it will. I can't wait since Christmas get togethers with my family and seeing my cousins and their weights I don't want to be that size when I am their age.

I plan to have the Realize Band done in January 2009. My doctor now is using it over the lapband. Did you have a choice of the two? -

It is a pesonal size blender, chopper, etc. It is great for protein shakes. It is good for travel. I will be going out of town next week will have to take it with me so that I can begin my fluid diet. I got it at Kohl's, they also have them in Sam's. You can look at it on line on their website. -

Hey, Do you still crave sweets and soft drinks? I am having surgery in January and these are my two weak points. Do you eat or drink these after your surgery? -

I got the magic bullet it is great. I picked a cheaper brand but was not happy so I went back and got the bullet. I am planning my surgery for Jan. 2009. I hope to start the new year with a new me. Good Luck
