just like u feel about ur cm not being so helpful thats how im feeling this lady acts like she doenst really want to help me.....or whatever so im scared that im gonna get denied by aetna.....and im also wondering how much my out of pay cost would be if my insurance covers 90% and if i do have to have to pay 3k out of pocket will they give me a chance to pay it overtime or will i have to pay it upront..ya know...im worried about that

hey lady im still doing the required doc visits before i can submit for approval i have one more appt on 4/30 then my case mgr can submit...so im hoping to god they approve...i did gain like 5lbs though....so im hoping they dont deny me b/c of that...its just that im so scared of falling below 40 bmi and them denying me b/c of that....!

AETNA-Did anyone gain weight during supervised months and still get approved

yes guys im guilty of gaining weight during these past 3 mnths of my pcp doc visits..usually its been a gain the 5-7 lbs of my original weigh in at my 1st consultation which was 243 and now im at 250...my bmi is right at 40 at 243...and im scared to loose weight so i have been trying to get in some pounds to get to like 41...but now im wondering if they would deny me for gaining....1 point on my bmi.....if so....ill try to do a lil fast/speed diet to help me loose these 5lbs before my final doc visit on 4/30...just wanted to know if anyone was denied or approved with a weight gain showing on file. thanks!!! i also skipped a month on this 90 day thing...so i ended up having to prolong this stuff to 4/30 to make up for the month i missed in jan, which will be my 4th visit required...did anyone skip a month but make it up and still got approved...? -
hello im in arlington....so who is ur surgeon??? and ur insurance company...i have aetna and i only had to do the 90 day multidisp. im going through lap band solutions/ true results....and im getting more worried of being denied since the time to submit to aetna is less than 30 days away....why were u denied??

hey yall im with true results/lap band solutions also but im doing dr marsden he does the dallas and hurst location, but i go to the hurst office..i was just wondering...do u know about how much they charge for the procedure if insurance pays...b/c i have aetna pos II 100 and it covers 90% so i know im gonna have to pay a little something towards this surgery im just wondering what price range should i expect..1k 2k or 3k, and if they want the money up front..so i can start saving up...i still havent go approved but that time is only less than 30 days away.... -

amy who is the company ur working with??? im with lapband solutions/true results..they offices in hurst and n. dallas....i was just wondering if we were dealing with the same people so i can be prepared for these same issues!!

dang girl!!! thats good...ur in a size 11/12!! thats my goal...! im doing good girl...still doing the damn insurance thing so i wont get to submit for approval until after my last appt end of this month.....! im soo anxious i want to get the ball rolling....and 6lbs is still good girl.....as long as ur loosing inches...thats another important thing!

hey amy!! im in arlington....i was wondering who u were doing ur lapband with?? im with trueresults/lapband solutions..im required to do the 90 day thing by aetna...so i still have one more doc appt and 1 more nutritional to do for the month of april...so im guessing my case manager wont submit my stuff until the first of may.......did u have to do any of those requirements before they were able to submit ur request for the band??? i hear some people saying that their coordinator submit the request even before they finished all of the appts.....im just soo worried that im paying all this money for the doc/nutritional visits...and then aetna turns around and deny's me....i wil be so crushed!!!

Hello ladies and gents, i was just wondering....i dont have the band yet, but its been on my mind if anyone around my age (23) are having issues loosing with the band at a slow pace even with the correct nutrition and atleast 3x's a week 30 minute cardio exercise....i would assume...but not expect that b/c we are still young... we would see atleast a 1lb loss per week....also when did u loose your first 10lbs after the surgery??? To be honest my best friend's wedding is in august....and she is begging me to be in it, but as many of us are or were..i still am extremely self conscious about myself...big arms..big calves...apple shaped girl....and i refuse to be in her wedding looking the way i do...she is soo mad at me..but i told her....that i had been planning the surgery and im aiming to have the surgery in may 2009, if i get a final approval from insurance. im hoping if do get the surgery round may by the time the wedding comes..i will be somewhat in better shape than now.....oh yea also is it true that you loose weight in the areas with the most fat first??? mine seems to be in the gut and inner thighs....thanks for yalls time! -

ok dear....please excuse me....ok i want to support but i had to laugh at ur last sentence about u telling the doc u had a nervous breakdown over popeyes chicken...lol lol lol....ok, now calm down! u had some naked strips right??? i understand u sd u got u some rice also..but u just had one bad mistake....the fact is u realize now it wasnt a good idea to get lunch for the crew u obviously know u maybe messed up..so just make sure u try not to take the same route again..its ok if u had some naked strips and a few bites of rice..... now if u had some of the fried chicken...shame on u...lol im just j/k but walk ur toe into the wall (ouuucchh!!!) if u want to discipline ur self about it...lol..good luck in the future! -
oh ok....i see yea ur right....ur gonna have to not try to eat like u used to...so i hope when u get the fill that will help u...cuz i know u wanna rather steadily......im hoping to loose atleast 60lbs..i will be happy at a size 12....i still want meat on my bones..!
