I had surgery with Dr. Spivak on 12/04/06. I started at 205 and now weight 178. Please do not get too worried about the things you will no longer be able to eat. I loved bread before surgery and now I could care less if I never eat it again.

I am sure that you must be frustrated. I hope that you get this resolved. I had my first fill on 01/04 (1.7cc) and will have my second on 01/29. I do not feel any restriction now and I hope that they will give me more than they gave you on your second fill. Surely someone will call you back today.

You can asked to be filled by Dr. Spivak. He will do it if you request it. Some people only have their fills done by him. When I had my first fill he showed up right after my fill and I was told that by the facilitator. I hope it gets better.

I was banded on 12/04/06 by Dr. Spivak in Houston. I had my first fill this morning. I had no pain at all. The anticipation was worse than the fill. I can definately fill more restriction. I am no longer starving!! Dream...Hang in there!! You will start feeling a lot better of the next couple of days

I was banded on 12/04/06. My BMI was a 36 and I am a self-pay. The day of surgery I weighed 205. I weighed 193 this morning. I started exercising 3 days ago (30-40 minutes on treadmill) and I feel better everyday. At this point, I have no regrets!

Hi! I had my banding done Monday 12/04/06. I have been a lurker until now and thought I would report my progress. I did not have a pre-op diet. My BMI was 36 and was told that I did not need it. I was on liquids for the first 48 hours after surgery and I am now on mushies for 4 weeks. Yesterday was extremely hard. I had a really bad headache and a lot of gas pains. I feel much better today. I am glad that the surgery is over with so I can move on. Good luck to everyone having surgery this week!
