I've been having problems eating now since July of 2008. At first it was just about anything I ate. Then a few months down the road my doc discovered I had gallstones and removed my gallbladder. That was supposed to fix the problems...well it did...for about a week. Then all the same problems came back. I can eat one thing one day and everything is fine. But the next day or even a few days down the line I couldn't eat the same thing to save my life. I tend to chew papaya enzyme every meal because of either precaution or because it feels as if something is stuck. Sometimes I will get up and walk around for a while (15 mins or so) and whatever I ate will move through. But occasionally I end up throwing up what I ate.
My doctor is convinced that I'm either eating the wrong things, or I'm eating too fast. I keep trying to explain to him that sometimes I have problems with the very first bite and sometimes it's halfway through a meal and all I get is how I eat too fast and the stomach is never the same size. I'm going absolutely crazy because I don't think how it's working is right. I don't know if I can live with the fact that 95% of the time I can't eat ANYTHING let alone even healthier choices. Has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome? I've been trying to read different threads and people's responses and what I've been reading is that people end up with surgery to either remove the band or scar tissue or whatever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
