Congrats! I'm glad everything went well. Keep us posted on your recovery. -
Good luck! I will be joining you in the flatlands in June.

Dr. Schulman, I'm planning to have a reduction and abnominoplasty. I have a few questions about recovery devices. I hear so much about compression garments. Do you have any advice about picking the right one? Also do you encourage your patients to use Bromelaine or Arnica Montana to reduce bruising? Thank you for providing this service.

I don't know if there is a specific time. I'm getting mine because I think the size of my breasts are hindering my weight loss. I'm not able to do certain exercises with the proper level of intensity.

Tummy Tuck Scheduled- Now Tons of questions
openag replied to urnoturcar's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Thanks so much for the info Shalee. I'm glad to hear you're dropping sizes. I'm really hitting the cardio extra, extra hard in hopes that I can lose a few more before June. I want the best results possible. -
Tummy Tuck Scheduled- Now Tons of questions
openag replied to urnoturcar's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Shalee, I was wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions? I'm getting a circumferential abdominoplasty in June. I'm not at goal (whatever that may ultimately be) but I felt I needed to have this done if I was going to actually get to goal. Have you lost weight since your tt? If so, has it affected your surgical results? Thanks. -
super excited about my Plastic Surgery

Thanks for the pics. I wasn't prepared for the serious bruises but I'm glad I saw. I'm having a circumferential abdominoplasty and breast reduction in a few months and I needed to see what I'm getting into. -
I don't believe a bandster can actually damage it (unless you have a habit of stabbing yourself in the stomach). Either it was defective to begin with or it was damaged in the fill process (most likely cause). Like Boo Boo said they are generally filling blind using the palpitation method.

Just got started with mine today. It definitely has made me more accountable already. Yikes! Now I know why I'm fat. I've barely eaten anything and I've consumed 1509 calories. I guess I will be drinking water for the rest of the evening. dd- all you have to do is log into your program. On the left hand side of the screen it has a "button" that says "Calories Consumed." Click on that and away you go!
