I just wanted to say thank you for your response to my post. I had the same experience with hospice with my mother-in-law 16 years ago. They really do back off when they find out a nurse is involved. With my mom, I dread each new report. She has a large left breast cancer with mets to the brain, eye, bone and lung. She has lost the vision in her right eye due to the tumor (which caused a retinal detachment) and she was scheduled to have cataract surgery in the other eye when this all started. So the lack of vision is the main concern. I think having all this going on since the day after my lap band on June 29 has given me something different to focus on other than my surgery and food. Maybe somehow she knew that,,,she was 100% in support of me having it done.
On another note - are you a Mary Kay consultant - I have a sister-in-law who is a MK Sales Director and we all love MK. Just wondering.
