I did lose a bit on the pre-op diet...my highest weight was the week after Thanksgiving at 242.8...at my last pre-op appointment I was 238...I am now 203.6...getting my second fill next Friday. I drank UNJURY Chicken Soup flavored protein powder in warm water...and used it to liquefy turkey and chicken - oh and shrimp too! I tried the Carnation SF Instant Breakfast that they had me drink in hospital, but that cause me to hvae so much gas...I guess I am lactose intolerant...so I switched to a GNC product sold in my local Rite Aid Pharmacy - it is made with Soy Protein - not regular milk products and did not cause me any distress. I got the Vanilla flavored powder and mixed it with Fat Free Lactose Free milk. I also made SF FF puddings.
